Calcutta Cup Back up plan

Well I'm sure just about every Scottish/English fan on these forums knows how hard it it to get tickets for Murrayfield on the day of the Calcutta cup. I am no exception. I'm currently on the waiting list and have absolutley no Idea if I'll get a ticket for the game or not.

As a back up plan I may be looking for a ticket (or 2 tickets) if I don't get them through normal channels. I know they can sell like gold dust and most people would make a lot of money selling them on E-bay. If you have a spare ticket or 2 lying around I would be happy to take them off your hands at a decent price. Although I'm not really looking for people to take the pi$$ in terms of price.

So if you have a ticket or 2 lying around I would be happy to make you an offer (should you be English or new to Edinburgh I would be more than happy to chum around with you before and after the match to show you all the beautiful city of Edinburgh has to offer).

Reckon I'll be up in Edinburgh (supposed to be moving up the day before) but due to moving uncertainties I haven't organised tickets. Will likely be in a pub somewhere so if you don't get tickets Radge give me a shout.

No go from Exe, Radge, but Scottish will let me know if anyone decides not to take up their allocation

Is anyone else on the waiting list and has not been informed yet? My receipt says that they would contact me at the 21st latest but I haven't heard anything from them. Tried emailing two different sections of scottishrugby.org and tried phoning today but no one picked up.

If they have not taken money out of your account by the 21st you have been unsuccessful.

Cheers, I got an email from 'em today saying same thing. They said there's still a slight chance but I'm not hopeful. I thought I was gonna get tickets for sure because I signed on the waiting list the first day it went up and I was happy to have any category available. Not too bothered cos I have 2 tickets for Wales vs Scotland.. I hope its like the last time we played Wales away.. with a reverse result of course
