Seems as though India's Golden Boy, MS Dhoni, isn't so golden any longer according to media reports. Could it be the end of Dhoni as an International player?

He's got a few lives yet as an ODI player for starters. Who's the next keeper in line at test level?

I wouldn't be surprised if he lost the test captaincy though.

There's a guy called Saha in the squad. He supposedly the best gloveman in India.

Dhoni recently said h isn't looking to play in the next World Cup, so if he's axed from the Test side, can't see him staying in the ODI team either.

Personally I don't think so, but you know the intolerable pressure from the Indian press and fans could seriously make him think is it all worth it.

He would still make an even further fortune from other forms of cricket and outside activities, but he has always stated his love of International cricket.

dhoni looks mentally jaded, and i think a break from captaincy could do him the world of good.

Did you hear him talk at the press conference today? He said some really weird things. He was trying to be cool but his words just came out wrong. The press gallery erupted in laughter quite a few times.

Gotta try and find that interview, imo I think it will get worse for him before the end of the tour. We all saw what happened in England with India's confidence after going two down.

MS has to be more proactive for sure. But he's still is the best wicket keeper batsman in India in all formats, by quite some way.
If the test batting lineup is not doing its job, India will have further problems, Dhoni has to be more attacking when in the field though.
When the team loses there always will be reports of mutiny, discontent and revolt, needn't give too much importance to those.

Mutiny seems a strong word. Huge pressure yes - but I think these 'reports' are the usual pre-test beat-ups by journalists to try and stir things up.

The pitch party on the WACA wicket seems to be the news of the day. Takes a bit of pressure off Dhoni.
