I got all Harry Redknapp and did some loan deals. Rodwell and a sitting CDM in front maybe. Attacking wise....best I can do and I will have to rely on using the players correctly tactics wise.

I think it is really open this season. Some of the tactics were first class. I gave essay length reasons! I really don't think we will see many huge victories.

Would anyone really pay that much though? i know Malaga, City,PSG and Chelsea are super rich but i couldn't see them forking out that much on 1 player

City offered 100m for Kaka so I reckon they would
Chelsea paid 50m for Torres so they're daft enough to and AVB worked with him.

With all of Macs bleating these past few days, I think he is seriously worried. Never seen him make such a fuss over a game.

heskey has shown time and time again he is among the top striker in the world both at club and international level and shown he is proflific in front of goal

The only game i didn't vote on was PSG - Benfica as YI couldn't submit tactics.

To be fair Heskey has proved he's a great foil for someone like Rooney when both in England shirts, not sure if the partnership of Heskey and Wes Thomas will be as influential

heskey is not a great player at all, i thought it was a joke when i saw an offer had been made for him!

On a serious note, where would cherries play him? On the left? I really think a partnership of Ade and Emile does no-one any favours. They are too alike (granted one actually scores goals).

Ade and Emile sounds a great name for a sitcom though. Two housemates. One rasta guy, who always gets the girls and one overweight windbag who has a drinking problem that reflects his ability in front of goal (for "drinking problem" think Airplane!)

Guts, we also kick off the European Comps this week. Tactics will be Wednesday, voting Thursday.

In fairness, how do you deal tactically with a threat like Heskey?

If all your defenders are on the ground laughing at him, he'll get plenty of chances to put it wide.
