yes because neymar would reject 5 million pounds for 20 games , = 250K a game!

English team so 50% tax bracket = 125k a week, agent 15% fee after tax, 110k per week.
Or Real or Barca where the tax rate is more favourable and they'll prob pay the same in wages?
And the glamour of playing for the 2 biggest sides in the world right now?

You need to get away from the money you are offering as being the most important factor. The player doesn't care whether the club accept £91m or £9m.
yes because neymar would reject 5 million pounds for 20 games , = 250K a game!
And you weren't offering that because we don't pay wages. The "wages" that you pay your players is essentially a reflection of your stature within this league, not by how much money you have.

Not true anymore though is it? They are closing the "Beckham" loophole and top players will have to pay 54% tax in Spain. Italy could be the place to benefit from that

I had also made an offer to PSG, which was accepted and better for me, then I deleted my comment.

I think I am going to sit and wait now. I can't upgrade my CB and I can't swap for a sitting CDM. The offers I have for Pjanic were good, but I am reluctant. So I am going to amass my money and be patient.

Giroud is a similar and better player. Want something a bit different.
I'd go for Berba if i thought that the runners wouldn't completely over value him.

I wanted Grant Holt - but don't think £610k will get him. So went for Helguson.

No thanks Twist.
I've got my TP bid in and I'm fairly confident it is a great offer. I'm happy with my squad. I only need a unit and a third goalkeeper. I'm not looking to deplete

I wouldnt say you need a third goalie, it would be very unlikely that both your injuries would hit your goalies and even if that was the case, just get one in that week.
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Pre Season Season 2, Page 14
i agreee with hero...i ended up selling my 3rd keeper, cos it was pointles.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Pre Season Season 2, Page 14
I have kept my 3rd GK as he is spanish which is good for the cups. You want to have as many as your starting outfield players as you can for them.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Pre Season Season 2, Page 14
If you have two good keepers, then it's enough I find. Often I don't have a keeper on the bench either, purely because someone would have to envision my first choice being injured...how would they infer that into a match!?
You do need two good quality GK's though, if your first choice gets injured a poor or untested one could cost goals.

I have 3 keepers, always handy to have
Starting keeper - Akinfeev
English keeper - McCarthy
U-21 Keeper - Al Ahamada
want to keep as many of your best outfield players available for the cup
So at least you have a choice of Home grown or U-21 for between the sticks

Yeh I got it thanks Nick.
Should be back here properly full time come beginning of February. If ED wants to keep Benfica on full time then obviously he can, or if he wants to hand the reigns back when Im back then thats all good.
Some interesting offers on the Benfica page.
Krasic= Gervinho
Really Fan, REALLY?

To be fair to Almunia, he wasn't bad covering for Rob Green while at West Ham. He didn't do anything stupid at least. I wouldn't buy him still...
