Fight possibly fixed Empty Fight possibly fixed

Post by aja424 Sat Jan 14, 2012 2:42 pm

I was watching some wrestling on sky the other night, i'm sure it was fixed for the fan favourite to win as the other fighter wasn't quite making contact and just made the punching effect by slamming his foot.
Also despite despite both wrestlers athleticism and sheer size, not a drop of blood or bruise was in sight.

Gaffer, I had the exact same problem.

It's criminal and I reckon I'd stop watching wrestling if I ever found out the endings were pre determined! Sad

Imagine it was like that Boxing where fights have predetermined winners, such as Peterson beating Khan

Definitely, if this soldier of revolution could show me proof that Wrestling is fixed I'd definitely switch off, I'm a bit shaken with this revolution, I won't lie!

You do have to hand it to Vince and the other wrestling promoters on how long they have been able to keep this secret though.

It's crazy to believe a man from Nottingham was the one to finally find the truth.

There's no way it's a fix, I mean how do you learn to fall off a 20ft ladder?

Next he'll be trying to tell me Planet Funk and Parts Unknown don't exist!

I'm just expecting this guy to come back on and tell us that the Undertaker isn't really an undertaker and that SCSA is a vegan.

Aja has made the post and run away like Ryder being chased by a demented Kane.

Let us hope he doesn't have to change a car tyre

Jeff Hardy's full-tilt crash into the barriers on Impact last night looked pretty real to me. First time I've seen a wrestler look genuinely concussed. First time I've actually cringed, rather than just gone "Whoa" or "Ouch".

Didn't even do that when Gunner started slamming guys head first onto the arena floor.

As I say, it may be "Entertainment" rather than real sport, but you have to give the guys (and girls) props for putting their health and wellbeing on the line every time they get in the ring. Only takes some bad timing or judgement for things to get very real and very nasty.
