The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Nigel Walker, Stephen Ferris, and Planet Rugby's team of the round above the bar!

Gibbo,
I canny understand this fascination with the Scarlets. Just a chump team who can't compete when the pressure comes on

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Afternoon all.
I am a poorly Dreamer today. Had to ring in sick coz my headache hadn't gone away, felt like I had an axe in my head this morning. Went back to sleep and only woke up a half hour ago. Feeling rather peculiar I gotta say, but my head is no longer hurting, so that's good.
All the acting in Sherlock this series as been brilliant, just a really great show. Gutted it's over already.

Ah I was just trying to squeeze rustic into a WUM, for Glas.
They need another year and a couple more forwards with nous. They can concentrate on the PRO12 now and I reckon they will make the knockouts.

Bingo Gibbo.
HEC QF was never more than a dream this season. Our main aim has always been to improve on last season. So going further in the LV and making the playoffs is what's needed. Think the away game against Saints just really gave us hope that we could progress.
We aren't far off, we're a young team, things shall only get better

Nah As. Ulster are the ones who monopolise crisis. Scarlets have blips. Silly.

My bad
With Glas's dual support, could they maybe become merged, like a crislip or a blisis?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Rav, unlikely, unfortunately, cos you'll be in the HEC qfs?!
Amlin qf seeding looks like this, with 1 playing 8, 2 vs 6, etc.:
1 - ACC1
2 - ACC2
3 - ACC3
4 - ACC4
5 - HEC1
6 - HEC2
7 - HEC3
8 - ACC5
We're likely to finish as ACC4 or ACC5, I think, so if it's the former, we might come up against a second-placed HEC side

Of course it was a hypothetical question
So if you were ACC4 and we were HEC1 then we would "get it on". Very Interesting. Oh I feel another trip coming sooooon

Thanks, manhughie1986 wrote:Well asbo if Chiefs play Ulster in Exeter people are going to be wanting to stay in my gaf down there. If you play your cards right I might let you stay there as well
OK, here are my Amlni quick&dirty qf calculations:
Pool 1 – Key game = SF vs Wuss: SF win (no BPs), SF win pool on 28pts; Wuss win (no BPs), both SF and Wuss level on 24pts, so then we go to head2heads, tries scored, point diffs, etc., I believe;
Pool 2 – Toulon likely to win with TBP -> Toulon win pool on 25pts;
Pool 3 – Key game = Wasps vs Bordeaux: Wasps win (no BPs), Wasps win pool on 23pts (24pts with TBP);
Pool 4 - Key game = Chiefs vs USAP: Chiefs win (no BPs), Exe win pool on 23pts (24pts w/- TBP);
Pool 5 - Key game = Brive vs Sale: Brive win (no BPs), Brive win pool on 27 pts; Sale win, both Sale and Brive level on 24pts if Brive get LBP
I think that’s right?
