The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Nigel Walker, Stephen Ferris, and Planet Rugby's team of the round above the bar!

Ha at least someone listened to it! And listening to yours now cheers! yeah take it easy Glas. You ever listen to anything from The Band's Last Waltze hughie? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaQDFk0fDTk that is one of more well known tunes I guess from it, or more stereotypical tunes from it on a whole I guess, if you know of it though I can give you something even more obscure than that

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Just listening now hughie seems like a cool tune. I put this next one up the other night but when have been drinking just can't help myself, just ignore the first few country like strokes of the guitar though and give it a chance I swear though I will be more original after this and stop putting out the same stuff over and over https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mDd9MPD_5Y

Mornin Rava, .
I'm frozen halfway through and I've only been outside defrosting windscreens, this is not going to be a good day.
Will the fire be on in the pub later?

Morning Rava, PJ.
It is a bit nippy out this morning. For all the times in summer I hate being in an office, it will be nice to sit at a desk later now.

Anyone see 'Coppers' last night on Ch4? Absolute compelling viewing. Some of the lower ends of the British public the police have to deal with is unreal. The cops use the acronym SNAFS. Sub normal and f ing stupid! I wouldn't have the patience for it.

Having read a lot of newspaper articles and pieces on here, it seems everyone is basically resigned to Munster losing this weekend. I believe it as well to be honest. Strange considering they are 5/5

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Morning folks
I think Saints will have their dander up as they have a score to settle and will probably just edge it against Munster. Maybe not a bad thing for Munster as my understanding is that no team who has won all six in the pool stage has ever gone on to win the trophy.
Just dropped the car in for a service. 185 squids for a drop of oil basically. The fella might as well have been riding a horse and wearing a mask the robbing barstewards!!!
DIY to do today as well, that will cheer me up!!!
Any on the go?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Saints v munster a tricky one to call, also Embra v LI.
Staggy, your advice on best route to a QF ticket, assuming Leinster are going to march on to a top seeding this W/E? Or maybe even two tickets, if Himself can be detached from his work.

Not sure Embra v LI is that tricky to call puma, I'd say that has home win written all over it.

Woken up by a subsidiary of FedEx this morning (on the phone not at the door). They said there would be an 'unforeseen delay' in the arrival of my package. I asked him what he meant and as near as possible his exact words where 'eh well they appear to have misplaced it. It's possible they may have delivered it to the wrong address.'

Morning all,
What kind of a team will LI send up to Murrayfield Ozzy?
Will they rest a few with nothing to gain from the fixture and concentrate on the Jeff?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I suspect that a few will be rested MrsP, as we have a small squad and more important battles to fight now.
I don't think it will be a total second string, as we won't want to get hammered as that can have knock on effects, but one or two key men have played a lot and I suspect they may get a week off.
They might as well call it Turpins As. If I could get away with not having a car I would, they are just a drain on finances. Sadly transport links where I live are shoite, so it just wouldn't be practical.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I'm inclined to agree with Pete about the munster game. I think the manner in which Sinners lost in TP will have them dying for revenge. It'll be a question of who wants it more Sinners or Munster and I just have a feeling it'll be sinners
