The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Nigel Walker, Stephen Ferris, and Planet Rugby's team of the round above the bar!

I live in a Victorian villa that was converted into two flats about 50 years past. The upstairs is being used as a holiday let so there's nobody in just now. Have contacted the owners - they live in Manchester! - found the spare keys, turned off the water (no sign of a leak, must be under the floorboards) and now wait for further developments or the plumber, whichever arrives first! Oh, the excitement.

Puma,
Girl, check the pipes leading down from the water tank. Find the valves to turn off. And call a plumber.
Water coming up is bad news, but water coming down is... well it can feic yer house.

Howdy howdy howdy.
Just wanted to register brief but sincere thanks for all the kind and warm posts in here on Saturday. I rarely get time to post in the pub - and now I'll get even less. I'll have to limit myself solely to the most crucial posts - inter-provinicial bickering and put-downs. So thanks - genuinely - to the "usual suspects".
Wee Ruan Stephen Darren Andrew Chris John Paddy Dan Rory Johann Pedrie Stefan Tom Ian Alfonso tha ms you as well. (I hate the name "Craig".)

Quaint and couthy is fine until this sort of thing happens - then a nice new modern box starts to have some appeal!

Just call him Ulster for short!
Delighted to hear about your new addition Don.
I hope you didn't do what MrP did while I was in labour with our second. Disappeared with my obstetrician to watch the first half of the Scotland v France game, came to check on me at half time and then disappeared again till the final whistle!
I'm just glad Ireland weren't playing that day!

Mrs P - no, I was watching the first half on the interweb, and then had to take over the putting of the first two Alfonsinos - Spartacus and Erasmus - to bed, as Lady Alfonso started to sense something was up. So the score was a delghtful surprise on Saturday morning.

Ah I thought it was a wee bit demeaning to his Mother and to lots of other Ma's & Da's, who earnestly mean the best for their kids. People who have never had the education or Life's experience to know or say any different. Not her fault.
Thats all bud.
Loving this Stars program on BEEB. Love where it is going. 12 year olds, asking awkward questions, about the Universe and yer man - Smiley Cox - answering like an excited child himself.
Excellent.
Beats the Christian Brothers.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Portuguese would be another valuable langauage to learn. The Brazilians are developing their economy pretty quickly. You can see it in the soccer, 10 years ago a talent like Neymar would have been gone long ago but he is still there. Guys like Ronaldinho and Elano have gone back there too. They are on tjheir way. Umbragado or however you spell it.

Its probably been said but Munster have brought Felix Jones into their Heineken Cup registered squad. He replaces Peter Stringer who is at Saracens.
Also Dolphin prop youngster Christy Condon replaces John Hayes.

Too right your in the stars. Your on Cloud 9,
P.S. - Rava APPARENTLY Condon is "reknowned for his scrummaging ability" (according to RTE).

Gibson, if Howlett was fit, Jones would have to work hard to get into the team. Denis Hurley has actually had a great European Cup at fullback in his absense. Jones has been missed but not that badly.
