The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Nigel Walker, Stephen Ferris, and Planet Rugby's team of the round above the bar!

That really sums up Condon. By all account is a good scrummager at AIL and Munster A levels.
Micko and Billy Holland are probable replacements. We've lost Denis Leamy, Niall Ronan, David Wallace and Tommy O'Donnell to injury so down to bare bones now.

First game of netball in 6 weeks last night, and we were on fire for the 1st 3 quarters (our shooter's jet-lag kicked in at the end, she got married in Australia last weekend and flew back in on Sunday). We won 23-16, after leading 22-9 at 3/4 time, and we were playing a team who've beaten us the last 2 times out
Good stuff Kiwi.. how are the legs? I must get back into the swing of things too. Need to do things either early morning or evening time because it's so bloody hot & humid during the day now.

Legs are OK today, I felt the calves a couple of times last night on full "lean". I was only playing GK last night though, playing GD tomorrow will be a bit more of a test.

Have to say Mick. You know your second row situation is poor when Leo Cullen is a massive loss. And he is a massive loss to Leinster.

It's not a bad time of the year for it to happen, we don't have THAT many games over the 6 nations period and he'll likely be back before the HC QF, he wasn't playing well this year, maybe we'll see Sykes get a good run if he can stay fit...

He's getting an operation on each of his Achilles tendons. They've been acting up all season apparently, this seems like the best time to do it because he won't be in the Irish squad and he could be back in time for the HC.

I hope thats a Beano reference cos thats an epic call. Hilarious.
I always think he looks like Miley Byrne off Glenroe.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Sounds like a huge risk.
Hope it all goes well.
And Stag, yeah, it's from the Bash Street Boys in the Beano!

Same reason Leamy decided to get his operation at this time of year.

Someone called me boring once. I took it to heart.
Apparently James Downey is coming back to Munster.

100% believe that is not the player you need in that position. Neither the calibre of player or the style of player.
However, it's obvious that the IRFUs little hand grenade thrown into the provinces is having an effect already. Big recruitment drive to bring back Irish players from overseas can be expected this summer.
Tommy Bowe, come on down. White suits him better!

Notch I don't mind it too much really with Downey. Not the best but the best 12s aren't available really. I think he could be ok.

bit of an error there me thinks Hughie.
Just seen the Wales squad. Both happy and bemused/worried at the same time. Some pretty strange calls in there!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Ireland name their squad.
Paul Marshall doesnt make it or into the Wolfhounds
However there are 6 uncapped players named in the Senior Irish Squad - O'Mahony, O'Halloran, Nagle, McAllister, Conway and Zebo.

Hmmm,
Point 1. Drop TOL for P Marshall
2. Thought Cullen was injured
3. Fitzgerald will be moved to the senior squad after the wolfhound game
4. Id swap Jennings for Henry
5. Who is Ronan Loughney
That's all for now

got my supervision in about 5 mins. My manger is not going to like me once I'm finished I don't think.
Picking a week when I'm feeling like crap is probably not the best time to talk to me about how I'm finding work!
