First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Nigel Walker, Stephen Ferris, and Planet Rugby's team of the round above the bar!

Spoiler:

Ale cuppa coffee mug guinness cider raspberry RedWine Bubbly

I now know that the world has gone technology mad as whilst I was at work yesterday evening Mrs O and my mother who was down at ours for the weekend, were sat in our front room, both on their netbooks, skyping each other!!!

Hope everyone is well? Is it nearly the weekend and time for some more Heino action?????

It was indeed Cari.

Rava was frantically calling me back inside to meet young Luke while I was yelling my head off at the Ulstermen as they did their lap of the ground at the end of the warm up!

I'm afraid I made the child wait!

I'd go
ne to support the team not just have my piccie taken. Although he is a lovely lad and I'm glad he waited.

I know my place Gibbo, I get told what to do by a two year old.

Sure there's Ale and rugby at mine though so it's all good. Next trip to the MadStad for me on 4th Feb for the LV game with Glaws, and I am taking my mum, who is 5 months short of her 60th birthday, to her first rugby match!

He tweeted something along the lines of Tigers being fired up and would bleed red white and green for the cause.

I tweeted back that if they were bleeding green then maybe they should get themselves down the quacks. I followed it with a little winking smiley and #SUFTUM

He replied by telling me that it was a metaphor and I was an idiot!

Doh

It was pre game, and I have been very good and have not tweeted him back asking him who looks the idiot now! Laugh

Sounds like he's maybe not the sharpest knife in the drawer then.

You know what, I think the Tiger players were guilty of seriously underestimating us. They just looked shell shocked. It actually reminded me of the first Ireland v England game at Croke Park.

Yeah,I find rather than sending an email or shouting, a wee walk over and the suggestion of a lunch-time pint, works wonders in getting what you need.

James Connolly of Edinburgh you realise? The Pale were one of the groups most against the rising or the thought of one. It wasn't until the executions that public mindset changed ,all over Ireland. Also the Conscription issue helped later too. Kia can put me in my box if she likes but I'm pretty sure I'm correct.

Evening all,

Had a quick skim through last couple of pages and nice to see other people have enjoyed Sherlock too. Really good show! Have watched both series and every episode has been great except the 2nd one in this last series (Hounds of Baskerville). What a awful bloody plot! Apart from that though is all good Very Happy

Watched Luther for the first time in last couple of weeks and was really really great too! Got through both series in about 3 nights. But now deflated because I want more of the same.

Can anyone think of any other good series like that to watch? I am hungry! I saw The State Within and The State of Play a while back as well and remember liking both. I really need more of the same.....a good old BBC blockbuster series, so like I say, my plea to you all, any ideas?
