Frank Warren on Cleverly Empty Frank Warren on Cleverly

Listen to 8:00 to 12:00

While none of us exactly trust Frank it is true what he says about the mentality of some peoples attitude towards Nathan who has held the WBO Title just over a year yet everyone expects world domination straight away other than that you are just a stay at home bum bla bla

Who expects World domination??? Please could you tell us..

1. Most people think he's ordinary..

Called it a dumb generalisation...not calling you dumb per se...

I've more original words to call you than that..don't worry!!

Warren has always thought the viewers were thick...

I mean we always expect his fighters to fight the best don't we!!

His record proves that!!

I don't know Steffan, he has a world title belt which would suggest he is a world champion but isn't ready to face the best in his division which suggests he is a prospect. The two for me should be mutually exclusive.

As a world champion Cleverly should be fighting the best in the division not one nobody after another.

I would say he is still a prospect. But its hardly his fault he has picked up Warrens version of title is it

No it isn't but if him and his promoter are going to sit there behind a world title belt and pretty much say he is not ready for the best in the world they can hardly get indignant when people criticise them for it or criticise them for lining up guys who have no place anywhere near a world title ring, because some fans still hold onto the quaint idea that a world title belt should be something more than a marketing tool.

Having seen Arum get so much flak recently looks as though everyone want's to jump on the 'it's always the promoters fault' bandwagon.

One big fight would be a start, and Steffan lets not be silly here nobody is asking for Hopkins and Dawson back to back but Tommy Kerpency! he is not even close to a big fight and if we're honest we all know this is very likely to be the first of many (and I'll say now I genuinely hope I am wrong)

Having fought nobody as of yet we're expected to accept another fight against a nobody, Murat is the only fight he's had even approaching world level.
