First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Denis Hickie, Shane Horgan, Ben Morgan and Selorm Kuadey above the bar!

I'll actually be keeping the track open late tomorrow night unpaid so my viewing is not interrupted by having to close up! Smile

Will you record the match WillyG?

Actually, on that very subject, MrP went to set up the sky box to record tomorrow's game and it wouldn't let him as it's on the red button.

Anyone know anything about that?

Kia,

I suppose it will encourage folks as it will be a celebration either way!

Watching cars?! Woman.. well yer a woman... you have no idea of the beast that is Les 24 Heures Du Mans.

Saw the finish, once in 15 years. Never saw the start. Its great.

Id advise all young bucks to take the pilgrimage. And I hate car-racing. Pointless exercise.

I'm pretty sure Sky changed it from the Red Button to the main feature on Sunday or so. On sunday it went blank for a while so you weren't able to see because they must have been in the middle of changing it! And fair play to them to be fair. Once they looked at what had happened on Friday night they decided to change it!

I am 99% (actually screw that 100%) certain the Clermont Ulster match is the main match at 15:40 tomorrow so you should have no problem if you just tape the main programme tomorrow!

I thought someone had said it was moved but then Penfro has it on the red button and so I checked and so did sky.

We should get to watch it but it's good to have it to watch back later or pause to attend to some minor emergency with the kids, like

"She has my.....insert toy that said child has shown no interest in until her sibling picked it up!"

can't you train your kids better than that MrsP - I am disappointed in you.

We are working hard on puppy "rugby match watching" at the moment ... Interestingly it doesn't feature anywhere in the Kennel Club's Bronze, Silver or Gold award training certificates. They insist on teaching things like "Sit", "Drop" etc (you could try that on the kids)

As you will know only too well, dogs are so much easier to train than kids.

Although, when we were reading the puppy training books we did often look at each other and say,

"Do you think that would work with the kids?"

I agree. Like toodally. He was a complete and utter basterd in that. Loved im in it. Ray Winston was excellent also.

From the serenity and inner-peace of Ghandi, to that. Says it all about his range as an actor.

He was brilliant as Ghandi too.

Just out of interest Gibbo, did you listen to that song from Montreux that I posted last night or night before (or the night before that)....can't remember exactly what night it was, and oh wait I just realised Forever Young wasn't the one I was gonna post, It was the last song of that same concert by the same nam himself! Is amazing cause everyone from the gig is there to join in! take a look ( although Gibbo am sure you have seen it!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqJJdiG61jo

Oh and take a look especially at Neil Young, he is off his head and was apparently the first time anyone had ever used airbrushing....the reason?....to remove the coke from his nose lol
