I didn't expect that from an aussie. are you sure you are a thorough bred australian.
They usually take winning much more seriuos than that.

Since the first test in SA, Dec 2010, India have batted 29 innings and passed that as a team 3 times. Im assuming they wont be making it 4 in this test.

I knew the '210' bit... but as for them both being named Yadav? Too hard!

I was just in the midst of typing 'a wicketless session for India with Kohli 90* and Saha 35*' - when Saha decides to leave a ball from Harris which clips his off stump.
103/1 in that session. Kohli has batted very well... he looks like a future No. 3. Able support from Saha until 4 balls before the tea break.

A slower delivery from Hilfenhaus removes Sharma's off stump.
At least he hung around longer than Zaheer for his 16 runs.

Clarke gets the umpire to signal to the groundsmen to get ready with the big roller - so it looks as if he won't be enforcing the follow on when the last Indian wicket falls.

Hilfenhaus traps Kohli plumb lbw with an in-swinging full toss low on his pad.
So India are All Out for 272, and trail Australia by 332 runs.

Re: Australia v India: 4th Test, Adelaide
good morning my cricket buddies. What a lovely sunny day here in Gauteng.
As predicted the Indians are emulating a Nando's chicken foldover wrap and will now commence to retire with little effort in the follow on.
I wonder what is going on in their camp, since Gary Kirsten left the downfall has not been very graceful at all.

Re: Australia v India: 4th Test, Adelaide
So nothing much changed for India, th only bright spot being Virat Kohli proving to the world, and more importantly to himself, that he belongs at this level.
I'd strongly recommend 2 changes when the Indians come out to bat a 2nd time. Think Kohli should bat ahead of VVS Laxman in the order. Had VVS been any kind of form, I'd have had him at 3 and Dravid at 5, but alas, just can't make out who's more out of touch.
The more obvious one is that Ishant Sharma should certainly bat ahead of Zaheer Khan. As Harsha Bhogle said on commentary, Zaheer seems to have lost the will to bat. He looks like he's ready to give Chris Martin a run for his money.

Yes msp, they may as well try something different in their batting order. There's no reason why they should stick with the current one.

Morning breaker. Looks like the Aussies have this easily wrapped up. How many runs do you think they will aim for, 500 lead by lunch tomorrow and declare or go for a few more?

I like Warner as an opener, ok he can be unpredictable but he certainly takes the attack to the bowlers. Perfect opener in my books.

No need to apologise Billy - I can see your point but you probably haven't seen him bat much before this series. He was in very good form, then got injured.
Will 380 be enough of a lead?
Cowan gone now and it's 40/3.

I have seen him bat quite alot breaker, he can be very good but is no way near consistent enough for an Aussie team. Even before his injury he was'nt that good in my opinion.

lb, by the time Kohli came into the test side, many of us thought it was a given that he'd take to the format like a natural. When he struggled a bit to start with, I guess a lot many got a touch too disappointed and even impatient. But showed he has the technique as well as temprament to make it count at the highest level. Now the challenge for Virat is to maintain high levels of consistency, particularly in a side that will be going through a generational shift pretty soon. Kohli has to be at the forfront of it, and good he has proved himself here. You do need that test hundred to feel that you really belong, and even in the midst of all these gloom, Kohli, and thereby India, has something to feel good about.

Gone are the days when the Aussies would worry about Ponting coming in, in a situation like this. He has some form again and a very mature and experienced head. He and Clarke will bat the Aussies into a good position.

So you haven't seen him bat much then.
He was awesome in Sri Lanka and has a decent record in domestic - which is obviously what selectors look at when picking Australian batsmen.

Plenty of players look good in the domestic comps breaker but that does not always mean that they have what it takes for the top level and i dont think that Marsh has.
