Kid Chocolate? For some reason i've got someone called Kid associated with the bolo punch.
I might stick with Tyson though as in his 45second prime he must've done something amazing like that

Kid Galivan was the one you're thinking of, but I've heard other names too. I think perhaps he made it famous, someone else first used it.

Right you are, said to be the first to use it, no later than 1924.

Didn't some guy beat Valero's record of consecutive first round KOs, Brunston or something like that.
Not sure about first round KOs in total, Moore is always a good bet?

Was it the guy who Valero took the record of. Can't remember the name though, but it was a long standing record.

Re: Pass the Parcel Quiz.
Rocky Marciano with 68 inches, coincidentally the great Featherweight Sandy Saddler would hold a reach advantage with 70 inches

' Susskind, ' in German, is ' Sweetchild, ' so I guess we know why he changed his name. Could have been worse, though ; had he been called ' Sussbrot ' it would have translated as ' Sweetbread, ' and I'm sure his schooldays would have been quite lively if it had been so.

Coukld include Montiel in that list although technically they didn't die IN the ring but as a result of injuries sustained during the fightHumanWindmill wrote:Each of them had an opponent die in the ring.

Middleweight Al McCoy is the first ever southpaw world champion. What is odd about the manner of his winning the title ?
