I still can't believe that the RFU actually wasted money on doing this, instead of making themselves look professional they look lazy.

I think you´re missing the second page.
Must be able to deal with constant sniping and undermining comments from Rob Andrew. Furthermore, the candidate must under no circumstances call into the question the role of Rob Andrew or indeed enquire about just exactly what he does.
If his appointment proves successful, he must accept that any praise will be deflected from him not to the players but to the RFU board and in particular Rob Andrew. If his appointment doesn't prove successful, then Rob Andrew is entitled to say he was against the appointment from the start and that forces beyond his control meant that he had no choice but to accept the decision even though that this undermined him in his job, whatever that may be.
