Tremlett's Replacement
If Tremlett is Injured, Who Should Replace Him?
Monty Panesar, Graham Onions or Steven Finn? Or should England be radical?

radical ?
going in with only three specialist bowlers wouldn't be radical , it would be suicidal

It is surely going to be Finn. England's bowling strategy for the last two years tells us that. Even on such a wicket as this.

Some turn even on day one, and not a great deal of help for the seamers, so it looks like picking Monty might have been a good move.
I presume they won't bother replacing Tremlett in the squad, but if they were going to I'd suggest bringing in Chris Wokes as a potential 3rd seamer and middle order batsman - he might not get to play, but having him available would provide us with an option of a 5 man bowling attack.

Two spinners looks like it was a good call on this pitch. Provided they can knock over the last three quickly the bowlers shouldn't be too tired after a day and a bit.
Then just need the batsmen to do a job...

With Finn and Onions on the sidelenes,I see little use for yet another seamer.
Surely a spinner would be the best option should for any reason,Swann or Panesar become unavailable for Dubai.Patel would be the best choice for me.
