The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
This is the first Pub of 606v2's second year, here's hoping for another good one.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Augustin Pichot, David Campese, Mal O'Kelly and Jim Williams above the bar!
Last Pub: https://www.606v2.com/t22310p950-the-dew-drop-inn-virtual-rugby-pub#893262

Some Irish Rugby journos really are tools;
http://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/trimble-keeps-the-faith-in-delivering-for-ireland-3000429.html
They mainly work for this newspaper. I mean, jeez, ram your obvious subtext down our throat some more.

"But I learned it's not simply a case of the terraces frightening a gay player from coming forward. Max Clifford, the celebrity PR guru, pinpointed the role of agents and their perception that an openly gay player would be a weak commodity in the transfer market.
"If by their star coming out, it's going to affect their earnings, then they won't want them to do it," says Clifford."

Bore da pawb / good morning all. I overslept by precisely two hours and three minutes this morning. I usually use the alarm on my phone, which when it's turned on will go off every weekday morning at 5 am, but lately I've been pressing 'dismiss' instead of 'snooze' by mistake, so I've gone back to my old alarm clock. The alarm on that needs switching on every night, which I'm not used to doing so I forgot to do it last night.

He does in the end, but he does spend an awful amount of time trying to build up some Ulster v Rest thing alright.

The first Premiership footballer to come out is going to have to be brave as hell to do it. You can understand why they're reluctant.

I actually thought it was an interesting interview. Don't see the problem with it whatsoever.

I certainly can but I don't think lowered wages would be the main worry. I was more highlighting the way agents saw it.

im amazed there hasn't been an openly gay top flight football in all this time.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
That was actually an interesting viewpoint, Munsty. It's the first time something Max Clifford has said has made me think!

Actually, maybe I just made that up. says on his wiki that’s he married… disregard.
Yeah, I don’t think we could have found an older dog for a longer road but in fairness he’s still got it. would be a fantastic stop gap, hope it bears fruit.

Guti married Arancha de Benito, a Spanish television celebrity, on June 22, 1999. The couple divorced after almost ten years of matrimony, having had two children, Zaira and Aitor, but remained close friends

Not yet Ozzy, he's 3-1 down in the first set, but that was about 10 mins ago, the Beeb are sooooo slow updating.
Will be tough for him to beat Djoko.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Murray just doesn't have the mental strength to beat one of the top 3 in the semis or final of a grand slam.
Shame of him, he is unlucky in some regards to be around with 3 of the best players of all time.
