Kristian Phillips
Formerly of the Welsh squad, big things were expected of Kristian Phillips. Scoring tries Galore for Wales under 20 and Neath. Since moving to Tonmawr and now at Bridgend, it seems his career seems to as stalled. it seems the likes of Hanno Dirksen and Eli Walker are younger players ahead in the pecking order down at the Ospreys. Prydrie and Luke Morgan are also waiting in the wings (literally ) Is this a far assesment?

Re: Kristian Phillips
He's never had the chance of a run of games at senior Ospreys level. Mainly due to poor D and unfortunately, chocolate shoulders. Shame as he's blistering going forward.

I haven't seen much of him lately, but checking the Ospreys website he had a run of games in September-October. I do think he will find it difficult to cement a place at the Ospreys in the future. There are plenty of other talented youngsters there.

Re: Kristian Phillips
I can't see why Eli Walker is selected ahead of him. Every game he has played so far for the Ospreys he has been shockingly bad. His defence against Biarritz was terrible, he hardly every goes looking for the ball and he doesn't seem to have much pace. This guy has average written all over him.
Hopefully Phillips will be given some chances during the 6 nations and also Prydie at fullback.

Re: Kristian Phillips
Nothing at all is wrong with Kristian Phillips He has been in fine form for Bridgend scoring 10 league tries this season with wing partner Luke Morgan scoring 13!
When you consider the next highest Bridgend try scorer is Steve Cullen with 4, and several players locked on 2 you can see both wingers are in try scoring form and doing very well.
The Ospreys have basically a big problem, they have the 2 first choice Lions wingers in Shane Williams and Tommy Bowe, with Scottish international Nicki Walker backing them up.
Throw in Swansea wingers Eli Walker and Tom Prydie as well as the promising Hanoo Dirksen and you can see why Kirsitian is sturggling for game time.
Personally if Brew does leave the Dragons and they let Chavhanga go at the end of the season, I think they should look at getting 2-3 of the above players for next season to give them a run because they are all talented lads.

Prydie has moved to Wasps to the end of the season to get game time!
Walkers defence is shocking, I hope N Walker gets back to fitness as the Ospreys reserve wingers have been poor if and when the ball ever gets there.

Tackling is always optional at this time of the season.
