Went for Brees, as he broke the passing record

Went for Brady. He ended up breaking the (old) passing record too, but has led his team to the Superbowl as well.

Do the records only count for the regular season? Are post season, and games like the Pro Bowl, included in a players stats for the year?

Went for Brady. The man's a machine, even last week when it was all on the line, he knew he wasn't having his best game but still stepped up regardless

Chose Brady, but it does go to show how many top quality QBs are in the league at the moment.

Rodgers - consider that had he had the same game Flynn did (quite possible) he'd have equaled the TD passing record and would have been close to Brady on yardage. Then again, both he and Brees tanked in the playoffs, so maybe Brady is still the best? Guess we'll find out next week.

Like Moot I went with who I would choose as my teams quarterback if starting a new team. As it turns out that's not necessary as he's already the qb for the team I like. So it may be biased but Rodgers all the way.

b) I'm basing it strictly on this year so i'm putting him over Brady who is clearly the better player on sheer longevity and success

Brady just shaded it for me,

Went for Brady, best QB, has proven he can step up to plate on multiple occassion and had a great year.

Question for the people doing the whole "starting a franchise" thing. If all three were the same age (with the same stuff they achieved though - so some imagination is required to answer this) would you still be taking Rodgers as you're starting QB? Sure he's an outstanding QB, but when you consider the weapons he has compared to Brady (Brees obviously has my toys than Argos) I still believe Brady is a better QB (and could quite possibly go down as the greatest of all time). #Bradylove.

Brees for me. They guy is amazing.

Very hard to choose between the three of them, they all clearly deserve to be considered the best around at the moment. Looking at it though both Brees and Brady managed to break Marino's record this season which despite the new rules is still a massive achievement, Rodgers though has incredible stats 45 TDs to 6 INTs and 122.5 QB rating.

Ended up going for Brady.

If they were all the same age then Brady. Brees and Rodgers are excellent qbs, but Brady is in a different league, or at least was until recently. So if I knew I could get a fair few years out of him I'd pick Brady but Rodgers age is too much to look past at the minute.
