All too predictable...
Federer loses to Nadal in a slam (yet again)
Andy gives it his best shot against an imperious Djokovic.
Novak then give Rafa another free tennis lesson.
OK so only the first part has come to pass yet again but is anyone out there really going to bet against the next two parts of this three part play?

Yesterday morning I would have agreed completely but Novaks shenanigans with his hamstring and breathing have sown all kinds of doubts in my mind!

Re: All too predictable...
HMH Novak certainly looked OK by the end of his match with Ferrer.
Afterwards he said: "I don't have any physical issues. I feel very fit and I feel mentally, as well, very fresh," he said.
Of course, if Andy can really push him and Novak starts to struggle then who knows?

To be honest at this stage I'd be happy enough for it to play out like parts 2 and 3 say though I'd be happier if Murray and Djokovic swapped.

Nole has a long and glorious history of feigning problems on court.

bitfs
you can swop Andy for Novak for act II but then act III is cancelled.
Reason being I can see Andy beating Novak if Djokovic is below his best but I can't see Andy dominating Rafa like Novak did, even if Andy beats him.

Re: All too predictable...
The only HC slams that Andy beat Rafa in though, he dominated him. Maybe Lendl is already taking effect.

Should Andy defeat Novak, he will win his first Slam.

Nah. I think Djokovic aside, Murray has the game to take Nadal out in Melbourne
