Fantasy GM Mock draft selections updated 30/01/2012

First topic message reminder :

Last year when the board was in it's infancy we did a fantasy mock draft, this year I am thinking we could do the same again this year, but will look to start it early, as I would like to see if we can get through 7 rounds.

To make this more fun, and a bit different (if we can get 32 different GM's which will help more if not 16 will help) I propose that you can trade picks, for 2012 picks only(not players on rosters) rather than just pick up the best ranked player with your pick.

You are the GM of your team and if your a Skins fan and looking for that elusive franchise QB make a deal with the Rams and move up.

Deals will be based on true NFL draft value chart, I will try to act also as a Commish updating the main Fantasy Draft thread, (there will be 2 threads this one where guys can put their names down and general chat and make trades and a sticky which will just be the main draft board which will be the official who has been picked) if there is strong response in numbers then the commish could go the person who ends up with the Raiders as they do not have a pick until the 4th round.

Trades can go ahead if both GM agree, to stop multiple posts on open threads can I ask that all trades are first conducted via PM, when both parties agree to the trade can one GM PM me the details so I can see that it's fair, it will be the last one that will contain the initial offer, the acceptance, I will then post on the this board and move the relevant positions, teams etc.

We will try and keep the drafts in 3 threads like the NFL draft. There will be a 1st round only, then 2nd and 3rd rounds, then rounds 4-7.

I will also make an after draft thread, where those GM that have picked can discuss their picks and why they went for that player .

My suggestion for trades would be that if you want to trade down you can announce that you're open to offers then those interested can pm you their offers, then you both pm Leedscowboys to confirm when a deal has been agreed. If you're looking to trade up then you can either suggest in this thread who you're looking to trade with or pm them to see if they're interested in a trade.

to be fair im looking to trade down form 11/12 so i can beef up seattle in needed position/ get Ryan Tannehill fora reasonable price
pref looking for a mid to low 1st round+ a later pick,

I also think any discussion of trades should be held off until, we have GMs for all teams.

Leedscowboys, i reckon ppl have had long enough to join up. Why not distribute the remaining teams and if anyone new does come along then they can take over someones second team?

I'm willing to take a second team, Jets perhaps?

Also, when do you plan on running the draft and how does it work exactly?

Similar to bambam I'll happy to take control of either Eagles or Charges as they're two team I watched pretty much every week.

OK all the GM spots filled bar Raiders but they dont pick until Round #4.

if its fair and by the trade chart then i'm sure its fine. As this isn't a "competition" I doubt you'd propose anything silly to help one of your teams because it would be pointless!

Mockingjay said on the Round 1 thread that he has to give up being the Dolphins, does anyone want them? I'm happy to take over if noone wants to.
