Australia v India, 1st Twenty20, Sydney
India's woes on their Australian tour continued today as they lost the 1st 20:20 match at Homebush in Sydney by 31 runs.
Sent in to bat first by MS Dhoni, the new-look Australian side scored a handy 171/4 on a "tacky" pitch with keeper Matthew Wade scoring a rapid 74 and David Hussey chiming in with 42. In reply India lost Sehweg early to Brett Lee and then crawled through to 140/6 against Australia's spin trio of Brad Hogg, Xavier Doherty and David Hussey (who all conceded under a run a ball), with Dhoni's unbeaten 48 adding a tiny modicum of respectability at the end of the innings.
There were 59,659 spectators at the ground, a record for a cricket match in Sydney.

So that is where the saying "this simply isn't cricket old chap" came from?

India's performance was just as bad, as in the test series.

There's a good clip of Warner's switch-hit 6 here if anyone hasn't seen it.
