Re: Season 2 Homepage 2
I wouldn't worry Tooze, the rules state if votes aren't in by midnight tonight then the people who didn't vote get a point deducted from their votes and the results are just made up from the votes you have so far.

Yeah just give them out Tooze/YI. It is a pity people are going to lose points but they had fair warning.

YI League Results
AWA vs DCW
Winner- AWA
I liked DCW but feel that the overuse of certain superstars such as Maria (who seamed to appear all the time) might start to get annoying. Good show though.
2 Good shows, AWA was slightly better however
AWA - Great show, shock ending with the Japanese invasion, and leaves me intreguied to see what happens next week.
Demon's Creek - A couple of matches too many IMO, didn't need so many guys competing twice, not including the ending. Still a very good show, a great ending with the World Title, nice idea with the Inter-Gender Tag Titles.
DCW feedback - Good couple of swerves, enjoyed the show and interested how you take intergender tag division, good use of Stephanie
AWA has put on a very good show but a lack of main event hurts it.
Whilst DCW has also put on very good and one id prefer to watch but id say about 2-3 matches too long
AWA’s card poses more questions than answers. I enjoyed it but I was left scratching my head in some segments. It was less wrestling show, more Japanese soap opera. However, I do look forward to next week’s show, so it had the right effect. I just feel it needs one more “big” star added to the roster.
DCW card was confusing in places .Steph keeps “popping up”, and yet did not take no action when Henry attacks Shamrock before their match – a match she made moments before. The choice of champion is unusual to say the least, but the way he won it was exceptionally thought out.
SCW vs KOTR
Winner- KOTR
Both shows were very good however I felt that KOTR just had a little bit more star power. Interesting to see Raven get given a chance at the top belt. Will be interesting to see where it goes from here. Best two shows of the week for me.
Two good first week shows, would be unfair to separate the 2 this week
Snake City - Great show, very solid start. Almost a dream match with the main event, and the debut of Goldberg was very well done. Laurinaitis is well written for as the GM.
KOTR - Superb show, great format with the qualifying matches, and the Scramble match with Raven stealing the win was brilliantly done.
Feedback SCW - Decent show, plot followed nicely, the ending as has made me annoyed and left me wondering if and why Goldberg and John Laurenitis are working together. so in that respect worked well
Feedback KOTR - Thought the show was a tad long and womans match just seemed seemed to be there for sake of it, but well put together, the show followed nicely, made sense. Enjoyed
SCW: very much enjoy the show but apart from the ending their wasn't much standing out that id actually want to see happen.
KOTR: I feel this is a better show then what SCW has put on but like DCW it's a bit too longer then necessary seems more promo-ing then matches but again enjoyed the ending big fan of Raven
A good card from SCW, but I worry about the small roster. Shark Boy was jobbed out, and another jobber was on the card. Goldberg appearing was a massive shock and really well handled, but destroying one of the two main hitters in the roster may make SCW become the “Goldberg Show”, which would be a shame. I am not sure how things would progress into next week.
Tactics from KOTR are a little on the long side, but an enjoyable read. The matches are well structured, as are the backstage segments. The conclusion of the match was well thought out and sets up next weeks show
LWWF vs TPWF
Winner- LWWF
LWWF booking Lesnar as a monster is brilliant, love the Heyman stable. Cannot wait to see where the storyline goes.
Bull has certainly improved since season 1 in his way of writing the lack of mid carders is worrying
LWWF - Great show, building up slowly to the main event. Rock v Lesnar looks to be the main feud and that can only be exciting!
TPWF - Undertaker v Sting is the one feud i'm happy to see. Points lost for only having one proper match, with a squash match and a no contest. It's like building a house with no foundations, you need to have a solid midcard rather than making the whole show about the main event.
Crimey - Strong roster used well, good matches and small feuds building up throughout as well as good main event. interested to see how it develops
Bull - show was to short, with 3 matches only 2 of which took place, no story development, great roster which i was looking forward to so was slightly disappointed with outcome this week.
LWWF: A very solid show but apart from the main event not alot of stand out moments i mean not many people who want to watch Jamie Noble vs. Arik Cannon vs. Conan O'Brian including myself.
TPWF: Despite a lack of matches Bull has pulled off a better show then i was expecting very clever moment with the mind games between sting and taker but not so keen on the main event.
Short card from LWWF, and one of two halves. A poor undercard coupled with an outrageous main event. Austin, Lesnar, Rock, and Hart in one fed has masses of potential, but I think using them all in a Battle Royal took the shine out of it. I think they could have been better used.
Like LWWF, TPWF has a short card. It only has two matches on it, and even though the talent on offer (backstage and in the ring) can not be faulted, I believe they should have been used much better. The love-in at the end does not set up next weeks show, and only the mystery man that choke slammed Sting would make me come back for more.
YIMCA vs HK Wrestling
Result- DRAW
I loved the audacity of YIMCA having only one match this week, absolutely brilliant.
I liked the idea of the one macth from Yi, However I can only vote for the show I would most like to watch and this week it is HK
YIMCA - Interesting show, with the Rumble match taking up the entire show, although it was innovative I feel such a match would have been better at the PPV rather than in Week 1. But a new Champion crowned, and a teaser for Week 2.
H&K - Very good start for H&K, great attention to detail without having too much. I'm hoping the anti-Japanese stuff is leading somewhere, unless it's just to entertain Beer! Great main event and a nice twist at the end.
Y.I.M.C.A - Good show, different to all other shows opening night, and rumble well written, Ziggler used well without wrestling, enjoyed
H & K Wrestling - Good show, enjoyed the ending and looking forward to see where the story goes, smaller battles appear to be brewing nicely as well.
YIMCA: It was a very clever idea to have a the whole show as a rumble and one i quite liked but it wouldn't have harmed to have a couple of pre rumble matches to help it along so could build a fued and go from their and have one another battle in the rumble etc.
H&K : The show was very well written and something id definitely watch happily if was given to me but i do feel it needed a better finish then it got to the show possibly the grimes vs new jack segment
The YIMCA Royal Rumble match just doesn’t work for me. It seems rushed and the talent in the fed should have been showcased better. It does set up a Ziggler v Y2J feud however which I will be looking forward to.
H & K throw up a card that has some fantastic ideas. The undercard is solid, and opens up matches for those taking part in weeks to come. The final match is very well structured and I can see if run for many weeks. Splitting two known tag teams and pairing them with each other’s partner (and doing it logically) was genius.
AWA vs DCW
Winner- AWA
I liked DCW but feel that the overuse of certain superstars such as Maria (who seamed to appear all the time) might start to get annoying. Good show though.

Tooze's Week 1 Results
MWF v nXtreme
Winner - nXtreme
nXTreme has a great concept that I wasn’t sure would work, but I actually bought into as soon as I started reading it. The groups of families feels very gangland like, and reminiscent of a mid-90’s WWE feel with large stables. This is a very interesting dynamic and I am looking forward to reading next week’s show. The Hart Dynasty angle was off to a great start, and the Women’s League System is a unique idea. My only criticism would be that it’s difficult to picture what age some of the legends are supposed to be? MWF was a good show, but apart from the Miz I felt there was little in the way of storylining – with long match-times. I’m not sure my concentration would hold if it was a genuine TV show. nXTreme would have beaten any show on the night because it was fresh – it will be interesting to see if the “freshness” holds up over the season.
Reason: Liked the Main event of Nxtreme but MWF all so had a very good one looking forward to where this lead to between Miz and Storm etc, i felt that Gregers idea for the divias was very good , overall Nxt had a better show
A good way from MWF with the continuation of season 1. I felt that the "welcome back" chants were a nice touch. I
enjoyed how The Miz is being booked. I'm hoping to see him become the Number 1 Heel. I feel that the show may
perhaps be lacking in main eventers thought. Interesting way to decide the women's title which I liked. Some
decent matches on the card too. A good opening show
An interesting show from NXtreme to kick of season 2. I like the format of the 2nd & 3rd generations. Some matches
seem to suite and made sence whilst others seened a litle bit of a lanside well if you saw the match on paper. I do like
the teasing of perhaps The DiBiase Family falling apart. I also enjoyed the Women's Title League. Again something
different from other promotions.
Great idea of the generations and I look forward to seeing what you do with it. Think I'd like those the Rhodes get involved in the main event scene to have a legacy reunion.
MWF was for the best wrote show this week, great formatting and flow to it. Just about the right length too. Only prob he has it's just a bit too niche with its roster, a lot of minor names.
A good show from both. I think MWF looks a lot stronger this time around with The Miz giving it some much needed star power, but nXtreme just edges it for me because the concept as a whole was a difficult one to pull off, but it could work. I still feel that both Ortons and both Dibiase's all work better as heels, so it'll be interesting how that plays out.
WCW v EWC
Winner EWC
Both shows were enjoyable, but EWC wins due to better storylining and contextualisation of the matches taking place on the night. EWC achieves the right mix of extreme and regular matches – it’s not too extreme which would dilute the impact of the show. It’s a very well written show where the matches carry great detail even though they are still as brief as anyone else’s. There was also a great build up to the World Title scene which I am excited to continue reading. In WCW’s favour, both the Jake Roberts vs Tazz and Anderson vs Foley feuds are exciting, but the seeds planted for the Kingston v Corino feud and the Elgin vs Kendrick feud were very similar. Also, as mentioned, the context of the matches on the night seemed random.
felt EWC had a better main event but WCW was a very good show as well
Well written show from WCW this week. Good selection of macthes with each match suiting both wrestlers.
You can outline where the layouts have been placed to see who's going to be feuding with who. There were some
interesting segements whilst others lacked in direction and seemed repetivite.
Good show to kick off with for EWC. Again there were some great matches in what was a good card. Most matches would
be something I'd want to see. Within each match with each wrestler suited who they were facing which would compliement
their styles. Wasn't a fan of how the main event was booked. I would think that from the segemtents before and after
the match the way its teasing where its going I think that somebody like Strong would be better suited facing ADR. But
that's just my opinion.
Great roster in WCW but it felt a little flat, no real WOW moments
EWC had great writing but not keen on the stars used, also a little long.
Two really good shows. EWC wins it for me because I felt the main event looks a lot stronger, and I could imagine all the match ups gelling together really well. WCW had a very strong show, and up against any other would have probably won.
Close week between these two, but E.W.C's main event shaded it for me!
T League v 6WE
Winner - 6WE
The T League wins because the show itself had a great narrative throughout, with enough hooks to make you look forward to the next show. 6WE was also a great show, but I don’t think there were enough inter-match segments, especially as the initial one with Punk, Guerrero, Edge and Flair was funny and entertaining. It would have been nice to see a few more instead of the lists of achievements of the title challengers, which personally as a viewer of it as a TV show would probably fast forward as filler. 6WE’s show, like The T League did though have a good narrative throughout, with a build up from a start to a climax.
Much better Main event and thought the way the show was laid out was better , TTL was all so good liking the idea but thought there could of been a bit more promos
Good format of how to get the main eventers across by winning their matches getting into the world title picture.
I however think it slightly de-values the TV Championship. Wasn't a fan of how the HHH/Garrett match came across it
seems to soon to have the Road Dogg turn so quickly perahps it should have taken place in weeks 2 or 3. It leaves
HHH looking weak as he is one the best from the roster. I'm willing to see where this goes though.
Brilliant shows by both, Giving it to 6WE though as they pulled all the stops with the main event whilst TLeagues main event felt like just another match.
This was a very close one, as I thought both guys had really strong shows. 6WE just manages to win because I felt he got the best out of his talent, where as I'm not sure that Road Dogg and Billy Gunn can be taken seriously as main eventers. Good shows from both though, and an interesting final twist in T-League.
The prospect of Edge and Punk contesting a world title along the line is an incredible prospect.
OVW v NWO
Winner - NWO
This is a tight fixture, with two good shows. I’m only choosing OVW as the winner because the climax to the World Title Ladder Match gave more of a reason to tune into the show next week.
Both where very good liked OVWs two main events but felt that NWO had a much better one with the tag teams
Interesting show from NWO. There were some good segements with the divas with a good starting point with a storyline
for them. Its nice to see somebody give the diva's division some attention. I felt that perhaps there were one or
two matches which were missmatches such as Zema/Warrior.
OVW even though was very breif had put on a card with some very good and exiciting talent. I'd like to see most
if not all the matches put out which would be a good wrestling show. It will be interesting to see what happens
next with Steen. I wasn't a fan of having 2 main events. But apart from that it was a very good show
Concerned the singles stars in NWO will get overlooked, felt like WWE in reverse. Brilliant roster in OVW but didn't like the two main events having a lot of the same stars.
I felt that Nay tried a bit too hard to have everybody in a match, so I can't imagine his main event would have been anything but a nightmare to follow because of the amount of guys involved. I think his show edged Fernando's who used his talent well, but I wasn't a fan of every member of the roster having a match in the middle of the show.
MWF v nXtreme
Winner - nXtreme
nXTreme has a great concept that I wasn’t sure would work, but I actually bought into as soon as I started reading it. be something I'd want to see.

To be fair I went all in with the Main Event, that swayed a few people based on the feedback.
Weirdly, the whole show went by, without Christian being used at all, and no-one noticed! I have plans for him in Week 2, was it more that the show didn't need Christian, or is he just not that big any more?

I think you was bang out of order to have that Main Event in your first week......every heard of a slow build?!
I just look at it as a sign of respect that you needed that Main Event to win

Bull, you just need to speed up whatever you had planned for Cena/McMahon/Hogan/Nash etc, as it didn't make much sense having nothing happen at the end of the show other than a hug.

To make things interesting Billy Gunn is up for sale.
He is injured this week, however I wish to use him in this weeks storyline anyway (to explain why he goes).
Anyone interested? I like to keep my roster ticking over.
