How is it unfair on other people? As far as i'm aware i haven't broken any rules?

I choose to go into detail to put on an enjoyable show to give me every chance of winning. If i end up waffling on then that's going to be reflected in my votes and my feedback.

I have looked at all the shows posted up in YI's League this week and all segments seem to be roughly the same size throughout.
KB, has one larger segment which is a tad longer than his others, which I dont think it would have been as easy to do in a couple of sentences.

The rules say "Promo's do not need to be lengthy. A couple of sentences about the jist of the promo will do.".

It doesn't actually say anything about how long,it says "do not have to be" which to me means that you decide how long you want it to be.

The rules also said that tactics had to be in by midnight on Friday but that seems to have changed as well,not that I am really bothered but I just say get on with it.

I think it's hard to really get across the nature of the segment in a few sentences.

most people have had reasons for posting later though JJ, which myself or YI usually been informed of

I think that a small paragraph (around 5 or 6 sentences) is more than enough for a promo

As Beer's opponent this week, I'd like to say that the length of his show should have no ill effect on people's perceptions of my show, as mine is at the length where I think it reads best anyway - for how my storylines and structure has developed, and I wouldn't have changed it whatever my opponent did.

However, as Beer was hyper-critical bordering on abusive to my Top Star and favourite wrestler on another thread, I can't say that.

I'm not complaining,I spend more time concentrating on writing 6CW so I have no issues with how the rulings work.

I just think there needs to be cleared guidelines on things.

Last week Bull got told he has two injuries for the next show,which to me isn't fair,it wasn't his fault that an oversight had been made.

And as far as promos go I see no problems with the length,as Beer has already stated,people can mark him down in feedback if there is an issue.I myself write longer shows because I like to go into detail...if I lose points for that then I am more than happy to.

The problem we had last season, was that each week the shows got longer.
I for one felt I had to follow suit otherwise I would get marked down. Then it became a chore as it was taking 2 - 3 hours to write the tactics.

I dont want that happening this season. That is why we went with the bullet point style matches & a few sentences for the promos etc.

Obviously its up to you all how you write your shows, but the length of the shows (long or short) should not affect the results when voting.

But I for one will not be making my shows longer if others are.

My show was purposely longer as it needed to build stuff towards the PPV. Hence the detail. This week is the 'go home' show and i want to make sure everything is set.

If people really have a problem with the length then it should be noted in the feedback, however, i wouldn't knock them down on that.

I had one big opening segment, but it set up the rest of the show. Would that be penalised?

I would hope note mate, at the end of the day it should be what happens during the show and how it's put together. That includes use of segments and promos.

If someones show is short yet brilliantly written and gets everything over then fair play, i admire their genius.

As long as the main point is put across that is all that matters.
What I dont want to happen, is for some to feel pressured to writing a longer show if others are doing that.

I would hope people didn't. And i would say that the feedback so far hasn't indicated that either.

I have commented where I believe shows to be too long in my feedback, but I have done so in terms of as if I was a viewer of a TV show, not as a reader.

E.g. If a show is just matches, one after the other, I would not enjoy watching that. Nor would I enjoy watching a show with loads of matches in, because it'll dilute the quality and impact of the individual matches. And maybe it's my WWE programmed wiring, but long matches are for PPV's IMO. If there are long, quality matches every week on TV, I'd question why I am paying £15 to watch the same at the end of the month?

AND.... my votes are now in. Great shows all round again lads. Keep it up. Good reads and some intriguing cliffhangers.

I think my issue with Bull was even if his injury was a GM, it should still limit his interaction. Yet he became a focal point of Bull's show.

Not his fault, but again i think clarification of the rules is required?

The rules are:
Injured wrestlers cant wrestle in a match. But can be involved in other ways.

I have mine beaten up, or on commentary etc.
In my first week for the rumble, Ziggler was injured and I didnt involve him in the match as an active participant, but had him getting knocked down off the ropes when he got on the apron.

Week 1 : Sin Cara, didn't appear (shame as he was supposed to win the tag titles with Beth Phoenix, then lost his berth to Booker T)
Week 2 : Jinder Mahal : promoed
Week 3 : Primo : didn't appear

My only question would be where injuries get attacked, take a bump or have a move executed on them. Would that happen? I have no issue with them appearing or being attacked "off-camera"

There was a stand out moment in Tooze's league for me too, which I think was classily executed. I'll also reveal after results. I've put it in my feedback though.

I build my injuries into the show.
Get someone beaten up backstage to start a feud. Or attacked and taken out when they are on to the ring.
It happens in WWE so I make the injury a part of my show.

I've had 2 of mine written out in shows and my 3rd has been helped by the previous weeks show.

To me; as i expressed before. The whole point of an injury is to supposedly weaken your roster and force you to make changes or be creative with storylines. Having them appear constantly throughout the show seems pointless. You might as well just say that every week someone on your roster can't wrestle and have people pick it themselves!

YI's League injuries done (done through Number randomiser, as every week)
Offers will be done later (so I have someone to help me come up with prices)

I have been using the injuries as continuing storyline

Week 2: brett dibiase blamed injury on his dad, appeared a few times

Week 3: randy Orton, caused whole storyline rewriting which was for the best imo

I have read it, but i'm reluctant to give you feedback after you dismissed my last lot. My one big criticism which i'll do publicly is that your matches need more structure to bullet points. Your opening match consisted of 3 kicks, an irish whip, a splash that's ducked and then a finsiher. It lasted 12 mins.

2nd match followed same pattern. 2 punches, dodged kick, elbow, old school, tombstone, 16 mins.

its not like thats every minute of what happened ? its just the key points

but overall on it? as in the end and Taker/Sting?

But they aren't key points? Where are the spots? Where are the high impact moves? Who dominates who? Was it a clean win? Cheap win? Hard fought battle?

Your opening 2 matches come across like the longest squash matches ever.

Also Bull, as far as I can remember, Hogan never won a match with a "Elbow Drop"

i understand what you mean KB but i find it hard to do that as my knowledge is limited compared to yours on this and im just doing what i can.

but to me the matches dont seem like squash matches IMO

so what twist? dont matter does not mean he cant win with it now does it?
