SNOW in edinburgh on saturday - Page 2 Empty SNOW in edinburgh on saturday

First topic message reminder :

Looking at the weather report for edinburgh on saturday it is almost cetain to snow and it could be heavy as well...

This could have a huge impact on the game. Much has been said about Scotlands selection of Parks at 10, certainly a kicking fly half and some people have been critical of Robinson for this 'percieved' conservative selection. It now seems that it may just be sensible. This is the 6 nations, this is February in the UK, often conditions are not right for expansive running rugby, if England get caught in the mindset of a loose game they could be made to look very foolish!

Scotland have a bit of a reputation for utilising the weather to their advantage, especially at Murrayfield, I wonder if they'll be happy to see it snow?

Hope so Gibson. Great performance by the pack esp Harley, Ryder and Welsh. Hogg try a real solo, sidestepping a la John Rutherford, effort. Wee Dunky Weir though was outstanding. Makes Robinson's decision to play Parks utterly bewildering. Braveheart

Makes Lineen's decision to play Hogg at outside centre utterly bewildering. His form there for the last few weeks compared with last night back at 15 is like night and day (based on the highlights online).

Its snowing in Rome now! That may suit the Italians game plan more than the French.

Why would snow in Rome effect a game in Paris ? Are they not about 500 miles apart ? Headscratch

Tactics from an attack-minded coach in Michael Bradley, or the benefit of having a creative 12 outside him in Matt Scott instead of Graeme Morrison?

Or just poor defence? The tackling for Weir's try was shocking, maybe they thought he'd be easier to bring down but he's got a lot of power for a wee guy. 14 and a half stone is a fair bit for someone who's only 5 foot 8. All the tacklers went high and he just fended them all off.

You're obviously on the internet and there are loads of conversion sites. If you can't work in anything other than base 10 then I recommend you use one of those.
