Awful decision by AR and probably cost Scotland the game (though the players did a lot more than AR to lose that one)

I actually like Dan Parks because, like Wales, when he is on song he's good, but those days are very few and far between, and like Wales you always feel that he will make a mistake and let you in. Just as he did today, and i wonder if thats the last time he plays for Scotland, because surely the Cupboard isn't that bare in the North, Is it??

For most of that match it was easy to see that Scotlands main problems were at half back. Cussiter I thought was awful but looked like a rugby demi god next to Parks.

Scotlands back play is the worst in the 6 nations and it's not even a close contest. Italy showed some great promise today I thought and I would be shocked if Scotland don't get the wooden spoon.

As soon as Scotland changed their 9 and 10 it was a different game. Not in the sense that Scotland could actually convert any opportunities but they looked so much more threatening. Someone please tell me what Dan Parks provides that Laidlaw doesn't? If I was a Scottish rugby reporter I would be tearing my hair out.

Not because I wish any malcontent on the man himself, he has always proudly played in the jersey and done his best, but I seriously hope this was Dan Parks' last match. He is our fourth choice FH possibly moving into fifth, and plays at about that level.

Paterson would have played better at 10. Jus' sayin.
