Following John Laurinaitis' presentation on Monday, the WWE Board of Directors has decided that the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations will remain as Interim General Manager of Monday Night Raw.

Brilliant! I think John Laurinaitis is amazing! He makes me laugh all the time, and to be fair I think soon enough it will be another Vince and Austin.

Great news! I would have extremely dissappointed if they had removed him. He was starting to really grow on me. Brilliant character if you ask me.

Great news, the only mystery is why they didn't announce him as the permanent General Manager of RAW.

It'll be interesting to see how his feud with Punk plays out over the next couple of months. Will it take a back seat to Punk / Jericho? I hope they manage to keep it ticking over without overshadowing the WWE title feud.

Of course one way they could avoid that is to remove Y2J from the equation entirely and have Johnny Ace take on CM Punk at Wrestlemania instead.

Johnny has developed into a good character after a shaky start, however he has won me over. The only thing that is annoying me right now is that he doesn’t really have any power, yes he's keyfabe booking matches but whenever he goes down the Vince heel boss road he alawys get over ruled by either hhh or the board of directors. How can we believe that the punk-ace feud has any legs when ace has no real power! As soon as he declared his intentions to screw punk at the rumble he was informed of the hhh performance review and ended up back in punks pocket counting the 123 at the PPV.

I wish they would just give big john the ball and let him (kayfabe) make the calls the way he see's fit, then and only then will he be a real threat to punk.

IMO for this feud and his character progression to develop ace needs to go power crazy and start stacking the deck in a believable way.

I can see the whole storyline being a HHH and Johnny Ace battle for power over Raw.

Agree with the sentiments shared that Ace has been getting better and better every week. He's grown into the role now and I hope he's around for a wee bit longer.

If Triple H bumps Punk to get this feud too he'll get serious heat, he already took his slot with Nash after beating Punk with no comebacks which with hindsight made no sense, if he does it again this time with Big Johnny he'll just be crapping on him for the sake of it

After HHH is done with the Undertaker after mania then i have no problem with HHH and johnny batterling to take over Raw.

They should be on the same damn side
