New Zealand vs Zimbabwe, 2nd T20, Hamilton
New Zealand completed a tour whitewash (the test, all 3 ODIs and both T20s) of Zimbabwe overnight, winning the 2nd T20 international by 5 wickets and with 2 balls to spare.
Zimbabwe's batting finally clicked on-tour, as they posted a very good 200/2 batting first. Hamilton Maskadza launch an assualt early on against NZ's seamers aided by Stuart Matsikenyeri. Brendan Taylor continued the assault after the loss of the openers, posting an impressive 75 off 52 balls.
In reply Rob Nicol's good form continued as he and new opener James Franklin (playing as a specialist batsman) added 103 for the 1st wicket in the opening 10 overs, then Brendan McCullum joined Franklin and the pair added another 40 before Franklin's runout prompted a flurry of wickets. The dismissal by Kyle Jarvis of both McCullum brothers in the 19th over left 2 new batsmen in needing 20 off the last 8 balls, but Kyle Williamson's 5-ball 20 (4, 2, 4, 6, 4) got the Black Caps home. NZ can be greatful to Kyle Mills who only conceded 5 runs off the final over of Zimbabwe's innings (after his 1st 3 went for 35).
Zimbabwe 200/2 (Taylor 75*, Maskadza 62) lost to New Zealand 202/5 (Franklin 60, Nicol 56)

Good effort from ZImbabwe, thought they had it in the bag!

I feel a bit sorry for Brendon Taylor, he's clearly the stand out batsmen in a pretty poor side
