France -V- Ireland March 4th

Apparently the tie has been rescheduled for 4 March with a 4:15 kickoff. Allegedly the French were looking to have the tie rescheduled to next season. Should be interesting to see if France can maintain a full squad with Toulouse v Clermont the same weekend.

Actually never mind I've found it.

Sound. Sunday kick-off suits them better than us- they wanted a Sunday date as they are playing the previous Sunday and the next Sunday. This way they get two seven day turnarounds. I suspect this was the cause of the September/next season thing. Hard bargainers.

That's just my theory, it may be nonsense. A lot of what is written here is nonsense and it stands to reason that that is as true of me as anyone. Especially when I'm just speculating. Ireland will face a six-day turnaround after this match.

At least we get to play two weaker teams first to try and get some form together. I wasn't confident at all going into that match.
