IF Robinson were to leave after the 6N...
First topic message reminder :
... Which seems to be becoming ever more likely, who would we draft in to replace him?
Who would apply for the Scotland role?
My thoughts are that it's very likely to end up being Bradley or (hopefully not) Scott Johnson.
I'd like to see someone like Dean Richards apply for it should such a situation arise, although I don't know how tolerant the SRU are. I'm presuming Mallet will get the England job, which is a shame because I think he'd do well with Scotland. Maybe we need a coach from the topsy turvy side of the world to get our backs properly firing, although Matt Williams was pretty atrocious. We need someone who's sharp on selection too.
Also who's in line to replace Stedman? Anyone know anything of that yet?
Who would you guys like to see in the coach setup?

It should not be Michael Bradley. Edinburgh's league form (and defence) has been utterly awful. Let's not get too carried away with the HC run. I'd like Bradley to take Edinburgh forward for a few years to see what he's made off. It's been a good start, and I love the way Edinburgh play as a spectator, but so far in the league it's all been very pretty and unproductive. He needs to add some Glasgow steel to his side.

Slightly OT but something I've been saying, not on this forum, for a wee while. Would it not have made sense to have Moffat as AR's backs coach? Robinson clearly know's his way round the pack, Barclay at 6 accepted, but has no idea about backs. Neither does Steadman or Toony. Whereas Moffat is a very good backs coach, but has no idea what a forward is; let's play 3 7's etc.

Of a specialist openside against one of the most physical back rows in world rugby? Or if I can't put an openside there why not try Kellock or Gray, 2ñd rows can play 6, just like wagga.

Radge that's what I said Barclay at 6 poor move by AR, and a few other issues, generally OK with the pack.

Hines at 6? Dougie Hall ever gracing the bench? Robinson's selections up front are mostly OK but he is prone to the odd clanger there too.

I am all for a Bryan Redpath, Scott Johnson (he has to be included unfortunately because he has already agreed to become a coach) and Craig Chalmers management team.
Well, if AR does go, i am certain that there won't be a shortage of contenders or even managers interested in the job, to manage an International team is worth having on a CV.
Head coach- Redpath and Joint Assistants- Craig Chalmers and Scott Johnson.
Forwards and Backs coaches, god only knows, i don't tend to look around to see who would be useful, maybe you guys could help me out .

Eddie O'Sullivan can be ruled out as he's hinted at applying for the Ulster Job.
