Yeah I do. The way I see it, Di Maria is top class, nobody disputes that. De Rossi people have doubts about as he hasn't been great for a while, last season he wasn't one of Roma's better players, that's for sure. And James Rodriguez is rated similarly to Moura. That's my logic, so no, I don't think I'm getting the spectacular deal you claim. Sorry.

Pepe => Chiellini (Not really sure how they are rated, but alongside Rami I prefer someone a bit more skillful, like Pepe. Both are rated fairly similarly I think though)
Rodriguez = De Rossi (De Rossi has ratings, but I don't think he's been up to scratch for a long time now, and I'm going to stick to my guns and my ratings.)
I have three left backs and Buttner wouldn't be anywhere near my first team so doesn't add a lot .

Also, I'd be losing two wingers, getting in an attacking midfielder who is rated lower than both of those wingers. It's just not logical to do that deal, it ruins the balance of my team. It's like me offering you Eto'o, Ibra and Marchisio for Chiellini, Toure and Hummels.

If you want Di Maria, then I want Toure involved.

Just because those three are considered your best doesn't mean they're equal to the three best of others unfortunately. Chiellini > Pepe for most of the league

I prefer Pepe, was a part of that fantastic Real Madrid defense who kept fourteen clean sheets in La Liga last season. Achieving more than Juventus. In the Champions League he didn't look great against Chelsea, in any case. I'm happy to have Pepe and Rami in defense because I believe that's a better defense than Chiellini and Rami.

A couple of managers are admitting they like him, yes. But he's at nowhere near the level of Rodriguez, who I'll come onto in a minute. But again, being part of a Real Madrid side who won the league gets you plaudits. I'd sooner have those players, who have achieved something and been part of a big side.

Rodriguez is potential at present, I like him but does he really win you votes? I can't see it. How many have actually seen him outside of a game in the CL or Europa League? I was Porto manager back on the Furious League so my interest is one more of having being aware of him over time (although he was always still back up then too behind Cazorla)

It's not relevant where people have watched the players, whether it is in the European games, or in the league games. I don't really care. I have only seen a lot of the players in this league in the Champions League or Europa League. Am I ashamed of that? No. I'm not going to sit through all the leagues and watch them. The European games give snippets of those players and that's enough to rate them, in my mind anyway.

Starting to fall into the Viva level of self belief in your own players disabling you from ever making an equal trade.

I think Viva's one of the best managers on here. He's like me, he refuses to be ripped off and stands by his ratings. I'm not going to suddenly think Pepe is worse than Chiellini just because you're trying to convince me to do a deal. It's like a salesman, they're not going to tell you the full truth. They're not your friend, they're trying to rip you off. I don't see you offering me a deal worth taking. If you genuinely wanted Di Maria or Pepe you'd offer better.

Pepe might be a thug but he wins the ball. Most of the top defenders are. They're not nice friendly guys who let the strikers have time on the ball. To say my defense is the weakest in the premier league is unfair. I wouldn't like to name as it'd be unfair but I can see two which are worse. Rodriguez is a good player, got loads of goals and assists last season and gets praised on the homepage by other managers, rather than me. If people see players in the CL/Europa league, then that's enough I think. I'm not expecting managers to have watched every single game week in week out. For example, when was the last time I saw Neymar play? Months ago. But I know he's quality.

Me and Viva refuse to be ripped off, the point of doing a deal is that is strengthens your side. He has placed his players on a pedestal, but that's not wrong of him because he has some quality players. I can see where you're coming from though, but when I get offered a deal I think is worth it, I will deal.
