No but De Jong is the same as Palacios, so you are gaining something extra (Barry) instead of two sit CDM's. Instead of De Jong + Barry for you.....it is Palacios + Barry

If Palacios is such a good CDM then he is at least close to replacing De Jong.

Any deal has to involve De Jong.

De Jong is not for sale, so no deal.

I agree that Palacios is a very similar style of player to De Jong but I'd rather lose Palacios of the two, if not keep both.

For Song, I'd offer Coutinho, Zapata and Meite (google him, £500k for him was an absolute bargain!)

The de Jong part is too up in the air. You are turning into CF. Don't let your love for certain players make you lose out on others. I offered you this:

I would do Song + Johnson = De Jong + X............

Bear in mind Song is worth 6M MORE than De Jong!

That is our starting point for any deals, unless you offer me much much better for Johnson

I am not TRYING to sell Song, I am happy to keep him. Just that originally you wanted Barry. So I am upping my offer to Song in the hope to get De Jong

It has to be worth my while to sell Song. You don't want to offer De Jong, and Wilson P isn't enough. Plus I am not interested in any of your other midfielders.

That is why I put Jags and Hart in the deal, and offered you replacements for them.

I would do "One of by CB's" + Song + Given = Wilson P + Jags + Hart.

Feel free to come up with another offer but if you want Song, you will have to be prepared to lose some stars you want to keep.

No I wouldn't do that as, even though they are similar values, Rodders is better known.

Neither would play anyway. I would use him in a deal to get a better player or simply for cash.
