With my squad as it is, if one defender leaves I need a replacement defender, and by replacement I mean one as good or better, or cash to buy a new one.

You have no cash and you have no defenders i'd accept in place of Jags to be honest.

And I wouldn't accept a midfielder or striker as it would upset the balance of my squad.

Can't lose Jagielka in that deal.

Dawson (£10.5M), Mulumbu (£4.4M) and Robinho (£17.5M) = £32.4M
for
Gareth Barry (£10.5M) and Daniel Sturridge (£15M) plus £5M when you get it = £30.5M

Mulumbu would be the back up DM to Khedira and Rodwell, and Dawson is the CB you're after. But I can't do the deal without including Mulumbu as I would have too many DM's.

I'm interested in Adriano, but if he's NFS then Daniel Sturridge. I can add cash to the deal if necessary, but i'm hoping your need for a class CB would seal the deal.

I want to keep 4 CB's. It's all a part of having a good squad with options and cover in case of injury.

If you had cash i'd happily sell you a CB for cash, but you don't, so if you want a CB then it'll cost you one of your better players.
