The 606v2 Euro Division - Page 18 Empty The 606v2 Euro Division

Post by ADMIN Fri 24 Feb 2012, 10:54 am

First topic message reminder :

Domestic transfers are now available!

Welcome to the 606v2 Euro Division

Where this will be different to the existing leagues is that the sides involved are entirely made up.
You don't inherit a pre-made European side.

Instead you make your own.
You would initially start with £150m with which to buy a MINIMUM of 15 players and a MAXIMUM of 23 players.
The prices for these players are determined entirely through the transfermarkt website.

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/

But here's where it gets interesting...the prices that are used on transfermarkt are the minimum you can bid, because other people in the league may also want the same person, so do you risk bidding the flat fee or do you bid more (increased bids have to be a minimum £500k more), the other point of note at this stage is that the maximum value player you can bid on is £15m (though you can choose to bid more than the £15m to get the player)

You then get an ADDITIONAL £50m with which to purchase upto 2 STAR players (min 1), though the maximum you can spend on 1 player is £35m.
This will then result in you having a team of a minimum of 16 players and maximum of 25 players.
You then have to name the team, give it a location where they play their home games and send this via PM to myself and Sodhat before the cut off point (to be decided).
Results of who got which player will then be announced and for those that lost out on players due to being outbid, a second chance is available to acquire players before the league starts, and third etc if needed.

Number of leagues is dependent upon how many players participate.

Foreign transfers.
As the only deciding factor for selling a player is cash then there shouldn't be wrangles over if a TP is accepted or not, if you have the cash you can buy!
TPs though will only go through once a week on a Sunday night for the week ahead.
Max transfer value for bringing in a player from foreign transfers is £15m in Season 1.
You can only make 2 foreign transfers per week.

Domestic transfers
Players can move only twice between domestic clubs per season, once they have moved twice you will have to wait until the following season to sell to another domestic club.
They can though be released or sold to an outside club.

For anyone that joins the league after it begins then the following rule applies for the first two weeks:
Transfers between 2 domestic clubs must be within 20% of each other in total monetary value. So for example if Team A wish to buy a player from Team B worth £10m then they must offer between £8-£12m in player/cash value.
Note that once 2 weeks have passed then the manager is allowed to but and sell as they please but this rule is in place to combat the usual bombardment of silly offers that litter the new managers page.

Injuries
Injuries shall be announced once per week on a Sunday night, they shall consist of 2 players, one based from the team picked for the previous weeks game and one from the entire squad.

Tactics

Each week you shall play 1 game, either league or cup (no more than one game per week though), tactics for this game shall consist of a team sheet, injuries for your team, if your team is home or away and a maximum of 15 bullet point lines worth of team instructions.
As well as the tactical instructions you are allowed 2 extra lines of a team talk to motivate your players, show your worth not just for tactics but how you build players up for the game!

Cash

Each week you receive 2m for a win, 1m for a draw, zilch for a loss.
You also receive an extra £2m per week for ensuring your tactics are handed in on time and you've voted on the results.
Each week there shall be a £1m cash bonus to the team voted best tactics.

Hopefully this is enough to entice to sign up! If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to seeing your team sheets!

That can be arranged Wink

Can't believe he has more votes than Neuer. Neuer is the best keeper in the world. YI should have bought Casillas Smile

I think I did well to get Buffon (he wasn't even a star player!!)

I think Buffon's value is down to age. Brad Friedel is worth less than £1M because he's over the age of 40, yet he's still one of the best in the Premier League.

Neuer didn't make my Top 5 to be honest, he's very good but he's not the best.

That's very true as keeper's get better with age. Friedel and Van der Sar were brilliant at age 39.

They say the way to judge if a player is World Class is to put him into the current Barcelona side in his position and decide whether or not the Barcelona side would still be as good.

In the Premier League, I can only think of Hart/Sczezny in goal, David Silva, Juan Mata and maybe a couple of defenders in place of Puyol that would be world class.

Any others i've missed?

Valdes is pretty pants if I'm honest. Hart, Chesney, Cech (on a good day), Reina would all get in that Barca goal.

Yeah you're right I suppose. Every keeper makes them, but for Barca they appear more obvious than for eg Schalke. I don't think Valdes' cost Barca anything though. Neuer is the better shot stopper.

I think you'll find that Big John Akinde stepped up last night and scored his first goal for the club.

Problem last night was our defence (or lack of). Shrewsbury had 3 shots on target, scored twice.

Morning,

WTF with Pogba and Fryers. Accoring to The Sun (psssh) Man United have said sign in 48 hours or never play for Man United again.
These youngsters are just getting stupid now. They are 18 & 19, they dont have experiance to play in a title race and are not in a position to hold the club to ransome aka Wayne Rooney!
I cant understand why they expect matches/more wages etc. They should be proud to be considered a talented youth prospect at a club like Manchester United. Do they expect their change just handed to them on a plate? They should work for their shot like other youngster and they will get their rewards i.e Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley, both in the senior squad, get match time AND both have had England call ups. They worked hard and its paying off.
I say if they dont sign get rid of them!

There is some way from now to summer. If club realise hes willing to move watch them go in, Juve will if they dont get RVP.
If Podolski does sign for Arsenal will be be partnering or replacing RVP?? Thats the question Gooners should be wanting the answer for.

With Wenger under pressure to make money id say replacing. Sell RVP £35m + and buy Podolski for £15m ish. But no fee has been agreed with Cologne. Its reported Arsenal did their usual trick of bidding much less than required, £8m is what ive heard.

Wouldn't you in Pogba's position when you have people turning your ear saying you're the next big thing yet cannot even make a squad that is having to bring a 38 year old out of retirement think about looking elsewhere?
Think about it as a workplace, you know you have talent yet are being overlooked, another company promise to give you that opportunity, you therefore hand in your notice and force the hand of the ones your with. Pogba himself has already shown that he's willing to leave the club that kickstarted his career so this loyalty to a club isn't even there anyway.

The same period the year before they made a loss. They only made a profit due to player sales.

I just cant see them both playing together though, they are very similar in styles.
Who, Pogba and Fryers? They play different positions, CM and LB.

another company promise to give you that opportunity
You said it all in that statement. elsewhere may say something else but they wont do something else.
Be realistic, name me a top club (I mean top club not no Arsenils etc) where an inexperienced EightTEEN year old will play week in week out.

Oh to answer that no. I am a firm believer of work had and get your rewards.

Was talking about Podolski & RVP
One of them will get ruined. Arshivan actually did have the ability to be great. Diaby did, I thought he was better than Song. Walcott had potencial, I dont think he does anymore. The list goes on.

Everyone forgets Wengers early years and his title winning one he inherited a very good back 5. He added good/great mid/att players like Vieira, Petit, Overmars, Pires to name most standout additions but since his inherited defence and keeper retired he has struggled to really get any quality at the back.

Wouldn't you in Pogba's position
Oh to answer that no. I am a firm believer of work had and get your rewards.

How can you though expect loyalty from a player that Utd themselves tapped up?

Man United were cleared of any alligations filed against them. Thats like me saying Suarez didnt say anything racist, abusive or derogatory toward Evra yet hes been charged with it but, I digress I didnt say I expect loyalty from Pogba. What I do expect if for him to understand the magnitude of the oppertunity with the club he is at. Nobody can deny Man United is one of biggest clubs in the world, top three defo, 1,2 or 3 is debatable on how you judge it.

Pogba will regret turning his back on Utd, but I think he will sign. Ravel hasn't made an impact at West Ham, I don't think he has even made his first team debut yet. Games where he would have played next season (Carling Cup for instance), he would not play for West Ham simply because they will play their first team in it.

Where are Welbeck and Cleverley? They should be telling him to sit tight and get the rewards later. Even Giggs, another product of the youth team, should be telling him that Man U has a great rep of using youth in their side.

On a West Ham note.....is Kevin Nolan really hated on here? I thought he wasn't a bad back up midfielder, especially if West Ham go up

Yeah, having your head turned by United is different because they are one of the biggest clubs in the world.

When he was at Le Havre and United came calling, he was fair game.

Or when he was at Torcy before that and Le Havre turned his head he was fair game too.
