First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Ben Morgan, Stuart Hogg, Simon Zebo and birthday boy Penfro above the bar.

Funnily enough, I didn't really mind Mikey doing it when we were down to 14 though Very Happy

It's the winning that counts though and we stuck at it. I must admit I was very nervous throughout, I hate it when we're tagged favourites. Wales

Another question, going back to the Ireland game, why didn't they play the Italian national anthem in full? Is it because Ireland have got two anthems to sing? Whistle

+1

Its a young side and with more experience, will only get better together. Dont fancy Twickers on Paddys Day now tbh. Lancaster has them playing for him. They seem to believe in him.

Madigan misses his 1st kick for Leinster. Great to see him attempt them now. Need a win here and it would make the run-in so much easier. And help the HC squad to rest a bit more.

Yes, it's a tag that doesn't sit favourably with me either, and I'm sick of the GS talk. Bread of Seven had the right attitude when he was asked about it censored

I've had to switch off the BBC rugby forum. Got fed up of Inversnail banging on about Farrell being the next Johnny. That poor boy has got some big expectations to meet if the English media are all like that. He's very good, but give him some credit. He's only 20.

Time was up Hugs. The ref asked that question to the TMO. England would have had another 5 metre scrum.

Glas

Cheers bud, congrats to yourself and the rest of the Welsh contingent. your boys did not play their best today, but still won, which is the mark of a very good side.

I'd love to see Scotland somehow kick on, and next seasons 6 nations be a real tear up between the Lions sides as an audition for the summer tour to Australia.

It's because Jonny's retired, Inverdull can't help himself!

I agree with Sam's attitude, he's really growing into a very good captain.

Glas just call them the English Regs you will have forgotten someone. PJ for instance. And Chef prefers the Frogs anyway.

Tough call at the end but savour the win anyway. Great break for your try.

I was torn between that and the personal touch, should have put in a catch all Rolling Eyes

It was a massive call, one I wouldn't like to be on the other side of. Another game that we could just as easily have lost. Priestland has been worked out. We were better without him.

Mrs Penfro - Stevo, Hook, Biggar, Tovey in that order. (please don't hit me)

Lee Dickson is a little Poopie isn't he? Prefect attitude for a scrum half Laugh

Swanny, you were fab today. For a team in transition you had the upper hand for three quarters of that game.

Glas, you're ok, you had Stevo first heart I know you don't like Priestland but when he plays well, he does get things moving.

I'm glad I wasn't the only Welsh person who didn't think Wales could win today. I hate it when we're favourites.

Well done to Wales and England both. I was very pleased with Ireland but unless:

1) Kidney plays Ryan next week
2) We turn in a top class performance against France

I won't really be happy

In fairness, Glasgow have been the better team here. So strong at home. And they seem to want it more. Our long unbeaten run could end here. I think its 12 or something.

Great steal by Glasgow. Thats it 10-10. Still unbeaten. Fair result. Shoite game. In miserable conditions. Sun shone and a clear day over the whole of Europe and it rains in Glasgow.

They go ahead of Ulster into fourth by dint of those two points. Race for the playoffs heating up.

All true. Do you think Reddan, POM and Ryan will start next week? It will really show if Deccie is changing. I was happy with him today actually. He used his bench well. For once.

Bringing ROG on (for his record) and leaving Sexton with Reddan was a great call. Darcy played well also.

Lets give the man some credit when its due.

Totally agree with the choice of pack. Don't see the need for changes to the back three after today- would like to see Zebo make his debut in an easier game. Sexton with ROG could be interesting.
