First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Ben Morgan, Stuart Hogg, Simon Zebo and birthday boy Penfro above the bar.

Ah Rava lets not be like that. Either of us. I disagree with your take on the next few games and you disagree with me. Whats the issue?

I honestly get rightly pished off with this "pity I cannot have my say without criticism" guff. Its a rugby discussion board. You said something I disagreed and thats the whole reason we post. We dont get personal about things and can continue to respect each other.

MrsP - fortunately for Ulster, the baggage allowance between here and Ireland on the flights is a bit stingy.... Wink

Notch - you might regret that...although I'm not aware of showing anyone else up before... Whistle

I reckon you'd take the financial hit of the excess baggage charge if you thought you'd get away with it?

I'm glad this match has turned out to be an exciting affair. I was concerned it'd be one-sided.

If Scotland cleared up some of their little mistakes, they'd be winning this by a fair bit.

France get another win without really playing terribly well.
Scotland are on the up for sure but it's not going to be easy keeping this up on the back of defeats.

Question for irish regs. Does that result bode well for Ireland? Scotland's much critisized backline got 2 tries today. Surely, provided we perform, that's a good omen?

Only if we perform though.

I didn't see the injury occur Dreamer, but he was being helped off the pitch. Looked like he'd turned an ankle, or hurt his foot.

Cari,

Just to be clear.

You know the way you wanted to be on the terrace for easy access to the pitch?

Well, you weren't planning any little....surprise pitch invasions like the one Murrayfield has just witnessed?

We should smash them Willy. I don't care what anyone says that is a very, very poor French side. No heart, no fitness and no commitment. We should batter them but of course we'll pick Conor Murray at 9 and play right into their hands with his slow service and box kicks........ censored

Yes I think Murray will start. He hadn't his best game yesterday but he's only just got into the team and shouldn't be jettisoned on the back of one below par performance. It's not like him to be slow so I hope it's just a matter of having a word during the week. I can't see Kidney making a lot of changes if any.

Its not one performance Rava his last couple have been like that.

His service was pretty quick when he first came on the scene so hes clearly been coached to slow everything down.

Personally I think Reddan is defying the gameplan hence he won't get picked.

The Pro 12 has closed the gap in the 6 nations, but for all Scotland's improvement effort and attacking intent France just smothered them (with the aid of Barnes' leniency it has to be said) in the last 10.

What a tournament we're having this spring.

The one guy who blatantly deserves to be starting for Ireland and isn't is Donnacha Ryan. I'll be mystified if he isn't picked. The others at least are close calls.
