The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Ben Morgan, Stuart Hogg, Simon Zebo and birthday boy Penfro above the bar.

Yeah when i teted you mate i was basically out of the door on my way to Shell's gas inkoop station in Den Helder. Apparently people need gas on the weekends, who would have thought that eh
I also havent used disks for music or films now for a few years, waste of room.

Lucky, your like my younger bro(you met him). He has masses of CD's & Albums. Likes to check the cover and read the sheet inside em.
Thing is, you get all that in downloads on your screen. And, if you want, you can burn all relevant literature and FLAC to CD covers - as required. Sorted.
Im 12 years older than him and he is starting to see the digital light now. I can give you all the options. Roysh. Next time we have pints.

I'd probably need a decent computer to have my music on anything other than CD, Gibbo. I have a netbook so I have to rig it up to an external hard drive just to put a CD on to iTunes.
Morning Billy!
I've just been listening to the blackbird in next door's garden. 'And your bird can sing.' No two songs the same. He's a master.

Ah man. You need a sleep mo chara.
On digital media.... you know.
I have a berging full of that shoite. Most all of it is packed away now. Must get a class media-speler to centralise and Network it all. I have a top-level PC, speakers, graphics card, sound-card and 2 x 22 inch scherms to listen to musak, watch 3 games of rugby and talk shoite - all at the same time. And a window of porn when Munster or Tigers are playing, and when Deccie is speaking - just to take de edge off it. Nooice.

I just watched Sam Warburton on the BEEB, genuine man is Sam. He speaks very well and if he is fit and in the Lions team, he is defo captain for me.

He's very level-headed, isn't he? I'd say it's hard not to like him. Even Vincent Clerc had a joke with him on the plane after the RWC semi final!

That's the thing Billy, if you listen to the Welsh players and management, none of them's getting carried away as some journos and certain Welsh posters outside are. They know - as should anyone who claims to follow rugby - that England at Twickenham are always going to be bloody hard to beat.

Gatland has learned to keep schtum too. Big change in him. It has really permeated down to the squad.
I saw Gav play well last night. But, he had that eejit cocky grin back on his fisog. Wales have moved on without him. I wouldn't even let him near the squad. He is the opposite to Sam.

The media and certain fans are always going to big up such a match but listening to Sam shows just how down to earth this Welsh team is and he is at the centre of it.

Gibbo, we haven't missed him. This must be the first Six Nations in years where no one's talking about him, whether wummingly or not.

Yeah. Really like this Welsh side. Its not full of it externally. They just know inside. Huge mental differ from the last 2 x SLAM sides.
Great to watch too.. as long as we're not playing ye. Basterds.

It's a post ironic joke like what Jimmy Carr does. I'm taking the Micky out of racists like
It's going to be a belter Hound. I had a terrible dream last night that we lost, and what's worse it wasn't because we were bad, it was because England were good!

Cheers billy/lucky.
Gonna have a bit more rest, then a hot bath and a good scoff (haven't eaten since breakfast yesterday).
Good luck to everyone today, and tomorrow. I have a feeling the Scots are going to upset France.

Morning folks
I've decided that Im going to go to the opening weekend of Octoberfest this year, but I'm going to take 10 days off and travel down through Europe by train and see some sights. Now I've been to Paris so don't want to go there again (its full of French) and was planning in headed to Bruge then onto Amsterdam. Amsterdam to Munich but where do I stop off on the way??

No worries Glas - hence the after my post.
I'm not so sure about a 'belter'. I think the ball is going to be up in the air a lot.
Whatever happens I'm sure there will be plenty of banter in the pub where I'll be watching it.
