WWE Interested in The Briscoes

WWE officials have expressed interest in acquiring Jay and Mark Briscoe, but they are both under contract to Ring of Honor.

This would be a great move for the WWE but they need some talent to build them up with.

why not use The Kings Of Wrestling to build them up with?

Strange move that one, I've always regarded the Briscoes ring style as a stiff style coupled with high spots that are potentially dangerous to all parties, all I can say is if they do move to WWE they'd be better buying a house in Florida than renting.

Don't think thats the route they plan on using with them, Bull.

From what I gather on this story from reading several of the dirt sheets (so may be more rumour than fact) is that WWE do wish to get the Briscoes but ROH have refused to enter discussions over a release and are currently playing hard-ball.

I don't think The Briscoes will be jumping ship anytime soon. ROH & Sinclair are very big on them since they re-introduced the talent on their new TV Shows, infact The Briscoes have drawn the most in their short time on TV with Sinclair employees wanting to meet them most out of all the talent. They are tied down to contracts so that might cause a stumbling block and tbh I don't think it would save the tag-team division if they were to sign for WWE, who would they feud with The Uso's? That woudn't do them justice at all. Plus if any of you have ever seen The Bricoes cut a promo or seen any of their matches they are not a PG Tag team.

To be fair though, WWE could look at a number of Tag Teams currently in ROH who could adapt well and would be very decent signings.

It appears they offered a deal to Adam Cole as well which was also blocked by ROH

Jay Briscoe last night set the rumors very straight with a very anti PG comment through he's twitter account

"Just to set Poopie straight, ROH didnt block us from gettin signed to the WWE. The internet is f***ing stupid."
