No worries, McKay, it's quite a bit further down, Tattie was last to comment. That was Poopie tackling from Lemi and why did Wilson cuddle Dirksen as he touched down? Eli Walker lucky not to get a yellow?

Was it eli Walker that went in the side? If so my first thought was yellow.

Ospreys opting for youth and lining up the next batch of young Wales stars.
Can't wait till Dirksen is Wales qualified.

Yes, lucky boy. Saw the McConnell had withdrawn to be replaced by Harley from the bench - is this a Mallet/Bergamasco moment?!?! Can someone tell Glasgow that it's not touch feicing rugby!

Jackson is looking a lot better tonight, but I'm also impressed by Dunbar. He looks like another possible young Scottish centre prospect.

Good grief that's frustrating. Basic technique failure from the Glasgow fullback there.

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow
This is blydi painful to watch. Glasgow have bossed the breakdown and therefore the game. Ospreys have shown, again, that they have no plan plan b when things arnt working out for them.
The amount of penalties and handling errors has been shameful also

Ridiculous yellow card for Beattie there. Shouldn't even be a penalty.

Where the hell did they drag this ref up from? And to be fair, if Ospreys win this it'll be a travesty

I swear, I just heard the ref say "Advantage Edinburgh". I'm not sure he knows who to be biased against...

To be honest I don't think he was biased, just useless. Probably a fair result though.

nope just poor skills all-round, especially the Ospreys. Just over 5000 at the game. Time for the Ospreys to consider playing more games at the brewery field. yes i am biased, but i dint care

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow
It would be interesting to see the handling error stats at the end of the season. I swear every Osprey's game i've watched this season has been the same, even in the blazing sun!
I'd also like to see them play some more games at the Brewery, better atmosphere might spur them on a bit

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow
I think we all agree on the same points tonight. Osprey's were very poor tonight, way to many handling errors and tbh looked pretty clueless in attack. I was thinking whilst watching when the attendance was read out of 5000 and something, it would be a great night at the brewery field with that crowd, great atmosphere and I actually believe the Osprey's thrive as players when playing there.

thats because they can only play percentage rugby, when it goes t*ts up they struggle to cope.
Ospreys have to take a look at whats happening at games. Ive been a season ticket holder a couple of times, never enjoyed the liberty, give me St Helens, Gnoll or Brewery field any day of the week. I could have gone to the game free tonight, i turned it down, ihave only been in my new house a week though

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow
What a rubbish performance by the Ospreys and the ref, well done Glasgow I thought Glasgow would win before the game (after looking at the Ospreys team selection).
Only Bevington should have been yellowed.

Was there really 5000? I doubt it.
I'm sure even the most diehard Ospreys fan (not that there's many) would admit they got lucky to get an LBP tonight. Dreadful game and performance by the Ospreys. If that guff continued and they chopped the Dragons (who can be dross, but at least sustainable), then good luck to them. Any of our regions could be also rans in the Heino after all.

Heard it being called out over the tanoy. But my mate who is a season ticket holder has said they call out bigger numbers that are actually there. When i was a season ticket holder first time round, the average attendence i remember for league games was about 10,500. Last year when i was a season ticket holder it was about 7,500 now it's more like 5000

Delighted with that result. Needed it considering Scarlets and Ulster both got the bp.

Jiffy questioned the announced attendance and wondered where the other 2000 fans were. Gareth Charles, who has been commentating on regional rugby since the year dot said he had never seen the Liberty stadium so empty before. Also, by the noise coming across on the tele, it sounded very much like a Cardiff Blues game at CCS; full of bored kids on freebies jeering the opposition kicker.
Justice was done anyway and Glasgow deserved to win.

Really good result for Glasgow, first win at the Liberty. Fusaro's try saving tackle turned out to be vital.

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow
Fair to say that the standard of refereeing in rugby, both club and international, has been less than acceptable this season. I thought Glasgow were going to somehow lose that game thanks to the ref.
I posted earlier on that Jackson was playing better than recently but his place kicking has to improve before he's considered for the Scotland team again.
I liked the look of Dunbar, lots of potential, certainly offers more than Dewey.
John Welsh must be worth a chance in the Scotland team now.
Glasgow should really have racked up a big score tonight, the chance was there.

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow
Showcase of exactly what is wrong with regional rugby in Wales. It's not because fans aren't buying into it, but because the product is crap. The Pro 12 is the rugby equivalent of Cricket's County Championship. The spare parts plugging away each week while the Internationals are unavailable/ only play in the big games like the Heineken Cup, yet still try and charge top whack to go and watch 2nd/ 3rd choice players.
Back on topic Glasgow good value for the win.

ASBO
yes Welsh should be there - awesome tonight
That utter knob end Neil Paterson screwed it for us and if I was SRU I would sue him for loss of income ! Please SRU get rid of this idiot. Kellock and Beattie's cards were bloody outrageously bad decisions. This incompetent individual should not be in charge of any rugby matches ever, ever, ever
