That's really not a bad song at all. Bonnie's singing the UK's entry in this year's Eurovision song contest. It's a poor song and it won't win. For 'Lost in France': 7/10.

Sorry Kenny, that one gets on my wick. A perfectly well crafted song, but I heard way too much of it doing 12 hour shifts on a holiday job as a youngster and it's turned on me. Whilst I'd give it 2, objectively I think it's a 6.

It's a decent song; but really it's just Richard Ashcroft singing over a piece of music by the Andrew Loog Oldham Orchestra. It's a good piece of music, but it's not the Verve! 5/10.

I really wanted to post 'Bad Case of the Blues' by Dusty Springfield, because everything about it - the arrangement, the production, the performance and the tune itself - is faultless; but it's not on YouTube. So here's another song that for me is more or less perfect:
