Tennis Player - Cryptic Clue Thread
First person to get the confirmed correct answer gets to post the next clue. No need to give the number of characters in the name, but the clue must be for the first and last name (although variants of first name are allowed e.g. Andy or Andrew)
E.g. Delivered without Jay, a robot, without Cy = Bjorn Borg
E.g. Delivered without Jay, a robot, without Cy = Bjorn Borg

Re: Tennis Player - Cryptic Clue Thread
very hard - will have to ponder this one all day. The only thing I can think of is viola between violin and cello and I wondered about Volandri, but then it is no anagrams.
Thick and dirty hair = matt/ mattias????
over to you Julius!

There is a region/country hint in the answer to this one. It is one of the Scandinavian countries.
PS: It is usually flaky.

Could have been Andy - born in Nebraska but currently a resident of (you've guessed it) ... Austin, Texas.

Saint has = St, in the end?
Gone without = "Gone" - o = "Gne"? This is confusing.
