should kers be banned when using the drs ?

many times today we saw someone activate their drs system and get no where near the car infront due to people hitting the kers button.

so when within a second should the car infront be banned from hitting the kers button?

No...otherwise it will be much easier to overtake...

If the driver infront has KERS it makes a bit harder to overtake rather than the driver bhind breezing past.

Remember the driver infront uses KERS which is 80bhp, while the driver behind uses the DRS and KERS which is 180bhp. So the driver behind still has the advantage.

I thought it worked pretty well today, there was plenty of overtaking but at the same time it wasn't impossible to defend as Massa showed against Button.

Then again, Melbourne usually produces a decent race. The real test will be on some of the duller tracks like Valencia...
