Been done before in less time Union, as I'm sure you'll know. Saensak Muangsurin (spelling almost certainly incorrect!) was WBC 140 lb champion after three fights. Jeff Fenech picked up the IBF Flyweight title after just seven bouts, too. Leon Spinks did it in eight, of course. Wasn't Ottke also a world champion in twelve fights?

Evander's certainly a mile ahead of those names, mind you, with Fenech the only exception!

May be wrong, but if I am it is not by too many fights but think DLH was not many more than 12 fights before picking up a title, could google it but would prefer to look foolish if I am wrong.

I've seen the Sherman Williams fight and I think it's the only time I've ever seen Evander take the easy way out and quit. What is it with warriors and destroying good memories?

This must be the most complete as far as available videos go. Only 3 fights with no footage - impressive. Will be watching this later today - great series.

Union is an odd fellow, he did a set for Harry Greb, there is no footage of him in action in nearly 300 fights, sometimes it does not do to try and work out how union's mind works.

Veeraphol Sahaprom won a title in his fourth fight and went on to have a very useful career including getting the better of Nishioka in their four fight series.
