I've only made two transfers and one was me losing slightly. The other was Matip for Krasic which was a pretty sweet deal. Although since then I've been scouting for a CM and no-one wants to play ball...

Sodhat, just scan transfermarkt for CM's worth the money you have to spend and TP for the player you desire.

You might have to wait until Sunday, but at least you'll get someone.

I have a couple in mind that I'd take on, cheap but effective I'd say. My problem is my injuries this week rather decide my team for me, so I'm looking to make a loan with someone if I can.

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/seydou-doumbia/profil/spieler_75287.html

this may be old ground from the furious league, but I can't believe that Doumbia is a year older than me. One year. In fact, looking at his (probably wrong) d.o.b, he is only 11 months older.

Can I make a request regarding TPs?

As injuries are Monday and match day Wednesday, we cant get in a TP until Sunday. Therefore we cant get a replacement via TP for a position we may need for the mid week match.

Could we have two TP's sessions per week?

Mon - Wednesday - Answered Wednesday
Thursday - Sunday - Answered Sunday

Sturridge for me.

Bought him off Olly for Demba Ba & 5m
=7m profit

Sold him with Rodwell for 25m + Adam Johnson + Eduardo Vargas.
= 15.4m profit

Net profit based on Transfermarkt: 22.4m

2-1 Everton I reckon, they're the form side out of the two.

I know the cliche "Form goes out the window" when it's a derby match, but it does count for something.

I think it's going to be 1-1. Everton can score first and then defend the rest of the match.

At the risk of upsetting Afro, Everton are one of my least favourite teams to watch play. They're so efficient and generally make any game a tight affair, that leaves a little something aesthetically lacking.

Added to my foes list Sad

We are not the prettiest to watch, especially this year, but we seem to get bracketed as purely efficient because we press the ball and work hard. Moyes' teams have always had that bit of flair in their too and normally, when we get past christmas and our usual bad start, we play a nice passing game. Just when we are not playing well, we roll our sleeves up and get stuck in.

This year, we have looked really dull though. When Arteta left, we lost that creative spark and didn't replace it until January.

But I am going 1-1 as well because these games nearly always end as a draw

That's a bit harsh Viva...was Johnson ever a good striker?

Sorry Afro, I like Everton as a club and the playing style isn't bad at all in fact, it's just the games I see of Everton always seem to be attritional, with very few chances carved out by either side. Is the pitch quite small at Goodison? Not being facetious, but it looks it on TV, and it might not help with the appearance of scrappy games...

If it helps, I have to watch West Ham play at home, and believe me, that makes for some dour football matches.

Afternoon gents. If Everton had a good creative midfielder and started the season well, I reckon they could be challenging for Europe every season. They also don't score enough goals but it doesn't matter much when they don't concede a lot either.

I don't think Liverpool have much firepower. They don't have a top goalscorer and have missed Suarez and Gerrard for swathes of the season.

Defensively, they are two well matched teams and whatever the score, I reckon it'll be a tight old game, even if it is a derby.

Nice quiet afternoon means tactics for Week 2 are done.

Will delay posting them until later or tomorrow, don't want to appear too keen Laugh

I don't think Liverpool have much firepower. They don't have a top goalscorer and have missed Suarez and Gerrard for swathes of the season.
On FAPremierLeague.com it was everyone put Liverpool and everton players in as they have 2 matches in this gameweek. I already had a Pool defender so meh.
Load of people put in Suarez, Gerrard, Charlie "Fat Man" Adam and made them captain and in the first match they have done nothing!
I look at liverpools goalscoring stats and they are so poor it wasnt worth putting one in, Instead I decided to gamble and put Yak Attack in my team, he got an assist and 5 points. RVP got a goal last night but a yellow card, 5 points. My gamble worked as it got me more points than a striker who does nothing and picks up 2 points.
