US Open Tickets
Does anyone have any idea how I would go about getting tickets for the US Open. Ideally 'Super' Saturday tickets or mens final tickets.
I don't really mind paying over the odds but it appears a massive venue and the Americans aren't massively into Tennis.
Thanks in advance

USO is usually a sell-out from start to finish...Guest82 wrote:the Americans aren't massively into Tennis.
Good link from TP...and there's more here: http://www.usopen.org/Tickets/tickets_faq/ inc. info on buying internationally (i.e. you cant buy outide US), etc.

Re: US Open Tickets
Don't see any prices on there, you think they'd at least show last year's prices.
Also, it seems to be saying that to get a good seat you have to buy a ticket for the entire tournament! That seems a nonsense policy that will generate revenue for sure but leave empty seats to some matches like early round daytimes matches, with bigshots buying their series ticket just to make sure that they can go to the big stuff and not turning up for all of it.
Surely it would make more sense to encourage more individual tickets sales, and increase prices for lower level tickets and bigger matches, reducing it for any time when the stadium might not sell out.
By the way, I found this:

Far more useful than the official site in some respects.

Thanks, that is really helpful.
We arrive in NY on the Thursday and would like to go and see the mens final ideally. Hopefully it will be put back to the Monday and tickets will be easier. Although it may be a case of black market tickets...

Re: US Open Tickets
Sounds like you need to buy the tickets the instant they go on sale and accept any ticket even near the back. For sure, you will have to break the bank to get a ticket in the lower tier off an intermediary.
