Ireland v Scotland match thread
First topic message reminder :
Scotland have been playing well and causing alot of teams problems and leading the 6N stats in line breaks.
I am expecting a very open game against Ireland and it could be a high scorer.

Great example of a refnot knowing how to ref the scrum. Should have been a penalty to Scotland

Still think Euan Murray should have started.
Not sure I like rugby any more. Other teams just seem to score points more easily......

Re: Ireland v Scotland match thread
Is that 3 forward passes for Evans now? What happened to De Luca?
Ref is good though - I'm just getting frustrated at Scotland unforced areas. Only thing I would say is that one team is always engaging early, going way before he started the 'e' of 'engage'; that's where this problem is coming from at the moment.

Totally agree with that. Every scrum seems to be early.

Good kick from Laidlaw
I will take that as Scotland looked odds on to score a try there.

Re: Ireland v Scotland match thread
I have realised somehing today with the scottish backline, they stand very deep on attack, so the passes go deep and although it looks pretty awesome with their backs, they rarely get over the gain line.

I repeat my point. We work our socks off for 3 points and then completely gift the opposition 7 points with soft plays. I'm getting tired of this. What does our defence coach do day in day out....??
