Well Done England - Page 2 Empty Well Done England

Post by bedfordwelsh Sun 11 Mar 2012, 16:56

First topic message reminder :

Didn't think they would win today thought France at home would be to strong for them but they were very good in defence and looked dangerous. I have said all along that I think they shoul have given Lancaster the job until at least after the summer tour.

Win or lose next week and I think England will win it will be very harsh on him if they bring someone in above him now, he has done well with a young side and instilled some much needed disciplne and ethos.

He doesn't do it that much for Leicester, I watch him week in week out, he is a ball carrier who loves contact!

This time last week I hated him, was racist, and had no idea of what he does.

Now he's done the same thing in another game people are agreeing...

Headscratch

A better ball player today would've been much more punishing to Ireland, especially first half! Trinder maybe...

Another player probably wouldn't have scored that first try . I'd like Trinder and JJ to get some game time though

Get to Leicester a lot then? Only half of their games are televised. Cashing out for Sky and ESPN AND going to English games (as well as any PRO12 games you go to) must be a hell of payout. Fair play to you, a true rugby fan

Congratulations to England. Three tries. I knew the last one was coming too when I saw the French so casually and perhaps arrogantly go for points (was it twice) with so little time left on the clock, instead of kicking for position and a lineout. It was the attitude that 'we'll pull this back in easily enough before 80.' I knew England would punsish them for the presumption.

But on the Ireland are an upmarket Italy. No, Ireland are much better than Italy as our overall record in 6N proves.

You got accused of "borderline racism" for saying he was unitelligent and could only run straight because he was an Islander. To be honest, it was full on racism.

Yes, that's a great result from England, and some good tries to boot.

Just look at our record against the Irish. Since 2007 we've beat the French 5 times and lost once (in the 6 nations). In the same period we've lost to Ireland 5 times and beat them once. I believe Ireland have beat France once and lost 5 times. Bizarre

England clap Have to say the best team won on the day. 3 good tries and outstanding defence. Feel sorry for stuart lancaster if they don't give him the job, think his honest approach has worked well for the team.

Really not been that impressed with France this year, I hope we can do the slam on sat!
