Stat of the day
First topic message reminder :
Wales margin of 7 points over England is the joint ( with the same fixture 2 years ago) biggest home 6 nations defeat England have ever suffered. For a bigger margin we have to go back to 1988 ( again bloody Wales!) when they won by a massive 8 points.
Maybe that puts a bit more context on what an achievement that win was ( even if this is a devalued 6 nations etc)
Says something about England too, even when they've had truely woeful sides like 2006 they dont get beaten big at home by NH opposition and havent lost twice aat Twickersin the nations since 1983.
Seems they are very much a home side.

Loftus has actually not been great for the Boks, I am speaking from memory now, but not higher than 60%, Ellispark is about 72%

What was the number one? I can´t believe those two are so low. Eden Park and Carisbrook must be the best ones in NZ. Eden Park is in the 80s I think and must be in the 90s in the new millennium.

Port elizabeth was I think only one loss in 12 tests.
Bloemfontein i think was second best at 75%
Newlands was 65% or something.

Surprising. The high veld for NZ teams is a real graveyard. I do love watching tests there though. The ball goes for miles and the bounce is like watching a moon landing.

It might feel like it Kia becasue of the Bulls making Loftus a fortress in recent years.
