You don't understand do you bless.

It's still in both teams hands as they have each other to play.
Both sides cannot win every game left.
If Utd win every game left they win the title.
If City win every game left they win the title.
It's quite simple.

City also have a better goal difference and a game in hand to better it.

I think Man Utd have a much easier run-in fixture wise. Man City could win the derby, but they have a tricky away game against Newcastle straight after.

Too close to call. Sunday 22nd April looks a key fixture. If Man U slip up at home to Everton at 12:30, then I would expect Man City to tottally try and tonk Wolves at 4pm the same day.

If City win all of their games left in the league do they win the title?

I dont think it will be that "Key"
If we can carry on winning, we have 6 games before City, 4 at Old Trafford, Blackburn and Wigan as the away matches.
I do think Chelsea and Arsenal will do us favours by beating City and leaving us with breathing room for when we play them.

But because they play each other they can't both win ALL their games. Yeah I got that bit as well. So if City win every game (which includes the derby), then there is nothing that Man Utd can do.

If City win all of their games left in the league do they win the title? - Yes Hero

BUT United are top so in the context of the saying you favour them.
Like refs favouring Keepers in challanges.
Afro favouring wedges ahead of chips.

So if City win all their games left as you admit they will win the title.
So therefore the title is therefore just as much in their hands still as it is in Utd's.
Ergo I am correct, you are not.
Case closed.

Yeah but it isn't in their hands Nick, because Man City could do something (regardless of what Man U do) and beat them. That is what the phrase means.

Nooo, Its in Man United hands as all they need to do is win. They are top, if they play lose/draw to City they are giving it away, they are the currently TOP OF THE TABLE so they will be throwing it away, hence its in Man United hands.

Being top of the table means nothing (I am sure you would not say it was in Man C's hands if they were top).

The ONLY way it is in Man U's hands is if Man C win all their games and STILL not beat Man U to the title mathematically OK

I think it comes down to Nick seeing things through the United tinted specs rather than not getting the principle of it.

It could be in United's hands if Chelsea nick something from City though.

To change the topic, who's excited to watch West Ham tonight? Nobody? Oh, ok.

We'll probably draw 1-1 with Middlesbrough in a hideous game and then I'll be emailed tomorrow saying how unlucky we were and how every point should be respected.

Scholes over Xavi, Messi over Ronaldo.

It's no coincidence that Man U have won all but 1 (3-3 at Chelsea) Premier League game in 2012 since Scholes returned to the first team squad. And that's at the age of 37.

I'd even argue that if Scholes didn't come out of retirement then City would be a good few points clear rather than behind.

"Vittorio Esposito took a dive in the box."

because he felt guilty he scooped it over the bar. The man took a dive to win the penalty, thats not sportmanship

It takes balls to man up and deliberately miss though you wouldn't see top class players doing that thumbsup

Yet you can bring an Air Rifle in and shoot someone in the leg Headscratch

If the kid was going to make it, he wouldn't have been sacked.

Ashley Cole with the air rifle, he's still a valuable asset to the club so he escaped being sacked. Like I said, if Jacob Mellis was going to be a valuable asset to Chelsea FC, he wouldn't have been sacked.

I don't judge how many leagues as important, Messi is the best player on the planet no matter how many times Ronaldo scored against Wigan.
