Wow, I got to admit, I've not seen Federer handle Nadal so well in a long time! Even coped with the disappointment of being broken back in that set well and got the break again later and sealed the set brilliantly!

It's times like this when you wonder how Federer ever actually loses to Nadal. Having said that, I've now probably jinxed him and he'll lose in three sets.

Federer's cheer is one of relief...he saw the risk of the whole match turning...he knows his level went down loads and just the first serve saw him through that game...

Nadal is being cruel to Fed by letting him get 2 games away from victory before turning up the volume of his forehands it happens all the time. Used to it.

lucius we know Nadal will hold for 3-4 then turn it on the obligatory 8th game as he always does in these types of matches. Roger is just a sitting duck waiting to be broke in the 8th game.
